St Andrews Church exists to serve the people of Eastern Green, Allesley Green and Pickford Green

The Warwickshire Beekeepers Association was founded in 1879 and is affiliated to the British Beekeepers Association. Our aim is to advance the education of the public and beekeepers in the craft of beekeeping and promote the importance of bees in the environment. We operate locally through 8 branches. Grace Church seeks to advance the Christian faith, according to its Statement of Beliefs in such ways and parts of the UK or the world as the trustees may think fit. The primary activity is the public worship of God, centred on the preaching and teaching of Old and New Testaments, along with personal pastoral care. It also seeks to relieve sickness and financial hardship within the UK or abroad.

It provides Christian outreach to convert people for Christ and provide humanitarian services for the destitute.It offers donations and clothing to the deprived in the society.

To provide funds to local charitable caises, promarily based in the West Midlands.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

Supports disadvantaged children in need by 121 weekly meetings of 2/3 hours with an 'older friend', who is a volunteer. The child may have their own problems or the child may be in a family or care, that make it more difficult for the child to thrive. Aim is to improve the child's self esteem, allow them to have some fun and build confidence, plus widen their experience in a safe supported way.

We deliver exercise classes to improve health and physical wellbeing; provide lessons in IT to enable people to develop and gain new skills and access information and resources and create volunteer opportunities for people to develop skills and personal competences so they can participate more fully in their community. Our charitable activity extends nationwide.

The PCC aims to promote in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church, primarily focused on the advancement of religion. Regular worship is provided free of charge and open to all. It also teaches and takes school assemblies, makes donations to other charities and projects in the relief of poverty and need, often for minority groups with particular needs, such as the elderly.

To promote sports of Asian origin in the UK, and to encourage multicultural organisations into participating in sporting events.

We operate for the residents of the Radford and surrounding areas providing activities including Education and Training. Many clubs for the Elderly with Disabilities and Special Needs. We provide advice and information to the public, A Luncheon Club for the benefit of the Elderly, Social Activities such as Dance Clubs, Bingo, Kickboxing etc.Our Building is open from 8.30-10.00 Monday to Friday

The provision of a Church, Sunday School and Manse to service the local community in furtherance of their religious beliefs and to benefit the local community generally in practical ways

Provide accommodation so there is high quality local services and activities for residents, particularly for those who are disadvantaged, vulnerable, marginalised or face difficulties accessing provision. Develop activities/services that increase participation, through providing under represented groups opportunities for self-development, volunteering and involvement in local decision-making.

To advance the orthodox Christian faith in particular by providing and maintaining a Romanian Orthodox church parish in Coventry and Warwickshire for the public benefit and provision of a place of worship.

CEDF provides community language classes to children and young people. Its activities include raising awareness of the Panjabi culture and heritage, family learning and homework clubs from its learning centre in Hockley. CEDF works in partnership with local schools, universities and community organisations to publicise the language and make its projects accessible in other venues.

Fundraising activities The charity holds several events/ functions each year raising funds through ticket sales, raffles, auctions and sponsership.

Coventry & District Samaritans provides confidential emotional support to people who are in distress or despair or who are feeling suicidal. The service is available 24 hours a day, every day, for contact by phone, email or on-line chat.

Providing support through community hospitality to vulnerable asylum seekers in the West Midlands, including:- Hosting Network: short term accommodation for destitute asylum seekers in the homes of volunteers- Family Befriending: befriending scheme for young refugees living the UK without their families

To promote and support the development and delivery of the Community Strategic Plan for the District( Kilinochchi District in Sri Lanka) To develop and manage projects arising from strategic plan focusing on poverty, education, housing, employment, arts, culture, environment, sports or other local needs identified within the plan as it is reviewed.

We help, care for the welfare and improve the quality of life of abandoned or feral cats in and around Coventry. We respond to calls for help when we are told cats and/or kittens are apparently abandoned living in gardens or on the highway, or surviving rough as ferals and endeavour to improve their quality of life.Volunteers and helpers are always welcome to join us.
