The charity was registered in April 2015 as a CIO and took over the assets and activities of the registered charity 1030771 during the financial year beginning 1st January 2017. The charity holds regular events in North East Coventry, runs projects to help children, youth and families and continues to advance the Christian Faith, education based on Christian principles and to help those in need.

To provide comforts and amenities for patients or staff in hospitals and medical charities, assist medical research, education and science, and support charitable organisations concerned with the sick or disadvantaged.

The objects of the Charity are the advancement of the Hindu religion and education particularly in Hindu culture and the relief of poverty and sickness among the Prajapati Community.

The focus of our 'core work' is in 44 locations where our volunteer leaders work with young people in the age range 4 to 18 years each week and engage with them through positive activities through our four programmes, Anchors, Juniors, Company and Seniors. Abacus is an independent counselling organisation providing individual and personal confidential support. Abacus's experienced counsellors are trained in many aspects of counselling and are able to facilitate a wide range of counselling services to meet the needs of the local community. Counsellors at Abacus work with people on an individual basis, in a private and confidential setting.
