Hockley sport foundation is a charity that aims for community development with hand on attitude and progress through unified approach. We work across the city of Birmingham , delivering projects in disadvantaged areas. We engage many participants every year in various sporting field including disable adult, children, young people, people with learning disability, underprivileged families/ adults.

A charity with a general charitable purposes of supporting Nigerian Community in Coventry and in the UK. The charity provides knowledge and understanding of Nigerian culture to its members and the public to enhance racial harmony and good race relations. It also provides skills trainings to unemployed members in order gain employment and educate youths born in the UK about Nigerian languages.

We distribute literature, audio, video tapes, DVD's, CD's and bi-monthly magazine at non-profitable basis to raise scientific awareness in Asian communities. We organise public functions led by mental & physical health professionals to raise awareness about mental & physical health issues. We continue to support our village children's education by paying their private tuition fees for the last 8 years and also running an English class for students. We funded house renovation expenses of 70,000 Rupees to a single mother of two, which was in very bad condition. The foundation funded to buy 3 sheep in total for 3 different families and also provided medical assistance to a child.

Various social activities held during each year to raise funds for developments at Plas Dol-y-Moch. The current focus is to help fund a project to provide additional new facilities at the Centre.

Our trustees came together with a vision to provide a Christian media voice via Radio Plus 101.5 FM in Coventry and the surrounding areas and to help build understanding and cohesion on behalf of the churches of Coventry to the wider community. The Trustees wish to see the whole of Coventry prosper spiritually, economically and socially and to foster collaboration among the media community.
