A charity which helps by providing hot meals, clothing and essentials by setting up mobile soup kitchens at various locations throughout the UK & internationally. We provide relief for those experiencing humanitarian disasters and offer services from our community hub for children, families & people dealing with social, emotional, mental & physical disabilities offering gym and boxing facilities.

Voluntary Action Coventry exists to promote and support social action, volunteering and community resilience in Coventry, strengthening communities, building capability and improving quality of life for residents in the city.

TFC?s objectives are to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of Christian based charities in the furtherance of their objects or any one of them, mainly but not exclusively by the provision of information, advice, support and infrastructure provision, and the relief of financial hardship, either generally or individually, through the provision of grants, goods or services.

The clerk to the trustees is the initial contact for local bodies and organisations seeking grants. These applications are screened to ensure that the applications meet the objectives of the Charity. The trustees meet regularly to consider the applications and to make grants in appropriate circumstances.

The Charity was established to advance the education of the public by promoting and developing the artistic taste, knowledge, understanding and appreciation of contemporary music.

Grants to charitable bodies supporting the work and concerns of the Religious Society of Friends, those primarily serving Birmingham and the West Midlands, and to UK based charities working overseas.

The Trustees consider that support to parents, their families and friends who have suffered a stillbirth, neonatal death, miscarriage or medical termination.and the dissemination of information and lessons learned to the rest of the Country to be of public benefit and our main focus for activities

Legacy WM was established in 2010 as charity with a focus on post war heritage. We have now broadened our aims to include; wellbeing, arts and community cohesion. We are based at Soho House and we work with local organisations to deliver our aims.

Kairos Women Working Together (Kairos WWT) is a specialist women's organisation in Coventry. We support and advocate for women facing multiple disadvantge; those with complex unmet needs, including women at risk of and subject to sexual exploitation. We empower women to increase their safety, stability, self-belief, and self- reliance to build lives free from abuse and exploitation.

The principle activities of the charity is to benefit the public by the prevention of alcohol and substance misuse; the provision of a stable and supportive recovery houses for people recovering from alcoholism and substance misuse (and the eventual rehabilitation of those people) and extended outreach to other alcoholics and their families in Coventry and the Midlands

To benefit the community and in particular the members of the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat of Birmingham for the preaching and practising of the Islamic religion, culture and traditions, as interpreted by Al-Dai Al-Mutlaq, for the advancement of education, the relief of need, recreation, hardship and distress in the interests of social welfare so that their conditions of life may be improved.

To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the statement of beliefs appearing in the governing document in Birmingham and in ten other cities of the United Kingdom, or the world as the trustees from time to time think fit.To relieve persons who are on conditions of need or hardship or who are aged or sick and to relieve the distress caused thereby in the said location.

Environment/Conservation/Heritage

The activities of the charity is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, primarily but notexclusively, for the benefit of the inhabitants living in Coventry and the surrounding area by the provision of facilitiesfor swimming, water polo and Para swimming.

The charity has asset transferred Foleshill Community Centre and will be establishing a Citizens Supermarket and Cafe for the benefit of the local community. The charity is also invested into food programmes to support school holiday hunger in the city of Coventry. It has also produced a local charter outlining its aspirations for a sustainable long term solution.

Avoncroft is a museum of historic buildings rescued from imminent destruction and carefully rebuilt on an open-air site near Bromsgrove in the north of Worcestershire. Our principal aim isTo inspire enthusiasm for and understanding of the history of building as illustrated at Avoncroft, and the relationship of people with the buildings they constructed and in which they lived and worked.

Various activities to promote and protect physical & mental health including:--Redistribute surplus food from the private sector to people in Warwickshire-Weekly health and wellbeing days for older and vulnerable people-Carry out Mini Health Checks -Plot to plate sessions, teaching people how to sow, grow cook and eat healthy food-Recruitment, training and support of volunteers

We offer free advice, information and support to Coventry residents via outreach services. We hold the Advice Quality Standard for our debt and welfare benefits advice, a nationally recognised quality mark for public advice organisations. We are members of AdviceUK and our debt advice is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our aim is to combat poverty and financial exclusion.

NANAKSAR GURDWARA GURSIKH TEMPLE IS LOCATED AT 224-226 FOLESHILL ROAD, COVENTRY, CV1 4HW WEST MIDLANDS UK. THE CHARITY'S MAIN OBJECT IS TO PROMOTE THE TEACHINGS OF THE TEN SIKH SATGURUS.DAILY PRAYERS ARE PERFORMED IN THE MORNING AND THE EVENING THROUGH KIRTAN AND ALSO READING THE HOLY BOOK (SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI). FREE FOOD IS SERVED THREE TIMES DURING THE DAY WHICH IS PREPARED BY THE SANGAT

The Choir with No Name provides choirs for people who have experienced homelessness. We began with one choir in London and are now expanding to run choirs across the country. Our work is based on the premise that singing is good for you; it makes you happy; and a choir can provide a community that is all too often lacking from the lives of homeless people.

The Charitable Company operating under the Diocesan Board of Education measures provides services to Church of England Schools and Academies within the Diocese of Coventry.
