ICYE UK encourages wider life experience and inter-cultural awareness through the provision of supported voluntary placements, in a range of social and environmental projects that aim to be of direct benefit to local communities. The Trustees maintain regular correspondence with those Pastors and Workers that the Charity supports, and send financial support on both a regular and occasional basis to them and /or their associated ministry organizations.

British Scouting Overseas is part of The Scout Association of the United Kingdom and supports Groups running the UK Scout programme in many throughout the world. This is support is provided through a network of Districts (covering defined areas of the world) and a system of learning and development for adult volunteers.
