The Mindfulness Initiative conducts research and educates leaders, policy makers, service commissioners and the public about the theory and practice of mindfulness and compassion training. It works with legislators around the world to help them make capacities of heart and mind serious considerations of public policy, and explore how mindfulness training may improve political discourse.

The European Province of the Third Order, through groups, organises activities and publications, which reflect aspects of Franciscan Spirituality. Soberistas CIO provides a social network website offering peer support to people who wish to stop drinking alcohol. The Soberistas website features blogs, a forum, a chat room and multiple additional resources intended to inspire, educate and motivate its members to maintain an alcohol-free life.
