To provide and administer a community hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Marwood in the county of Devon, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The Trust Fund and the Income is held in Trust for such Charitable institutions or such charitable purposes as the Trustees in their absolute discretion from time to time determine.

The charity helps provide relief to the poor and needy, however caused. It helps those in poverty, those who are sick or disabled, the elderly and young people. It does this by providing grants to individuals and organisations and advice and advocacy. It operates in Devon, Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly, throughout the UK and internationally.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR BY: 1 DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL; 2 ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS.

Northcote Hall is for the use of the villagers of Iddesleigh and Dowland for social, cultural and all community activities.

Fundraising specifically in aid of Holbeton Community Primary School. We aim to raise money to help with costs which cannot be covered by government funding to the school. This commonly includes buying sports equipment, books, classroom equipment and maintenance of swimming pool and outside areas, as well as external educational trips.

The Trust works closely with Plymouth Social Isolation Forum to find novel ways to bring isolated and lonely people together at Thorn Park Lodge. It also runs recall reminiscence sessions, practical science-based workshops, helps raise children's aspirations in novel ways. It has a pharmaceutical museum, library, a medicinal garden and is planning an exciting Heritage Health Science Exploratory.

Hockworthy Village Hall was placed into Trust for the benefit of the village in 1953 with the objective of providing "recreation rooms and a centre in which the social, moral and intellectual life of the inhabitants of the Parish of Hockworthy without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions find means and opportunity for development".

The Bampton Players stage dramatic performances, by the community for the community in Bampton in Devon. They stage plays and pantomimes indoors at the local Riverside Hall, outside during the annual Bampton Charter Fair and in a purpose built open air theatre in Bampton.
