The charity provides buildings & facilities for education & training for the general public for the benefit of mankind.

We provide a 'time off' for carers, looking after their dependent in a safe environment; provide a range of varied activities and socialisation for lonely or bereaved ; provide opportunities for volunteers. We offer soup and a roll, refreshments, cake etc for £5. Since Covid we are currently only open between 12.45 and 4.15 on Wed. We hope to resume longer sessions as confidence returns.

SKAIGH WOOD TRUST OWNS AND MANAGES A SMALL WOOD WITH OPEN ACCESS FOR THE PUBLIC. ITS MANAGEMENT AIMS TO PROVIDE SAFE RECREATION AND TO MAINTAIN THE ECOLOGICAL QUALITY OF THE WOOD AND ITS BORDERING RIVER AND PASTURE LAND.

FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE IN DEVON, CORNWALL AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS, WHO HAVE SUFFERED BEREAVEMENT BY THE RECENT SUDDEN DEATH OF A CHILD OR SIBLING THROUGH TRAGIC ACCIDENT, PARTICULARLY (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) BY PROVIDING GRANT FUNDING TO ASSIST BENEFICIARIES TO RECEIVE BEREAVEMENT COUNSELLING OR THERAPY OR TO SUPPORT FAMILY ACTIVITIES.

BY USE OF VISITS, TALKS AND DEMONSTRATIONS,RAISE MONEY TO SPONSOR IN THE FIELDS OF THE ARTS AND BRING THE ARTS TO THE PEOPLE OF THE SURROUNDING RURAL AREA.

Maintenance of a building for the purpose of community meetings and social events within Sheepstor village and the parish of Burrator

This charity is a PTA for Kenn C of E Primary in the village of Kenn in Devon. The objective is to raise funds for the school through fundraising events for children and parents, and sometimes the wider community. The PTA aims to involve all children and parents at the school and any funds raised are given to the school and used hopefully in ways which will benefit as many children as possible.

The Kent Kingdon Trust exists to purchase books for the Westcountry Studies Library and works of art for the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter.
