The charity exists to help maintain Washfield Church (St. Mary the Virgin) , its churchyard and fabric.

We work in partnership with local NGO's, known personally to the trustee's, in supporting pre schools and other educational initiatives as well as others in the community of Centocow, KZN, S. Africa. The 3 NPO's act as an informal advisory group to assist DCL in making grants to local beneficiaries and advise on projects that will benefit the widest number of local people in the long term.

1. Support the Parochial Church Council (PCC) of St Andrews Chardstock, in its responsibilities to maintain and repair the fabric, fittings and furnishings of St Andrews Church2. Support the PCC with carrying out any modifications to the fabric, fittings and furnishings of St Andrews Church which the PCC consider necessary to assist the work of the Church as it serves all in the community

Raising money to assist the Erme Primary School/ community by enriching the environment for its pupils/community users and supporting the community in which we operate. The charity runs fayres and events in school and the local community, returning funds raised through donations to projects and items identified by staff, pupils and community users of the facilities.

for promoting improvement in English Dairy Farming for breeding, management and milk produce of British holstein Cattle, awarded to young people living in Cornwall, Devon Dorset & Somerset for the study of griculture. ?500 was given to the Devon Young Breeders.

The relief of persons resident in the Parish of Crediton who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress, either by gifts in kind or grants of money.
