Sidvale Africa Link is a small charity that promotes friendship and cooperation between the people of the Sid Valley in East Devon and the people of the Bolero District in Northern Malawi. Since 1986 this charity has assisted the people of Bolero with various agricultural and educational projects. There have, over the years, been many visits to the area by people from East Devon.

ASSISTANCE WOULD NORMALLY BE IN THE FORM OF A CASH SUM OR POSSIBLY A SHORT TERM INTEREST FREE LOAN. THE TRUST WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE BRITISH HOROLOGICAL INST. SW BRANCH WHO GENEROUSLY GIVE MUCH SUPPORT.

Furthering the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the area of benefit and particularly in or towards the upkeep of the Parish Church and Chapels of Ease located therein and the purchase and distribution of Bibles and other religious literature.

Makes periodic gifts to persons in the parish of Stoke Gabriel, Devon

Member bands of South West Brass Band Association are invited to nominate musical directors or players for financial assistance in attending approved courses of musical instruction.

To relieve either generally or individually persons resident in Black Torrington who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress, and such other parochial purposes at the discretion of the trustees.
