The Trust is administered by Monkleigh Parochial Church Council and exists to provide grants to elderly widows resident in the Monkleigh area.

AS OUTLINED IN THE CHARITY COMMISSION SCHEME WHEN THE CHARITY WAS DRAWN UP IN 1985. ALSO INCLUDED IN THE CHARITY IS THE PETER FLETCHER PRIZE FOUNDATION. THE INCOME FROM THIS IS SPENT ENTIRELY AT THE DISCRETION OF THE PRINCIPAL OF BIDEFORD COLLEGE NOW PART OF LAUNCESTON COLLEGE MULTI ACADEMY TRUST A CHARITABLE COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Assistance to the poor and needy in the Plympton and Sparkwell areas of Plymouth, Devon

To provide ex naval personnel and their families social and welfare opportunities, including assistance when required. Also supply support for local sea cadet unit.
