The Charity currently has no current activities.

We run an open access Community Centre from which we base charitable services to the community. We directly provide lettable rooms, a community library, a community resource centre and a community archive. We host the Post Office, South Brent and District Caring, Art House, The South Brent Community Fitness centre, Moortrees and a wide range of other groups and organisations.

We mainly support charities and organisations using music and the performing arts in a social and therapeutic context, though some grants are made to wider general charitable purposes. Support to individuals is extremely rare.

Brixington Community Church is established for the purposes of advancement of religion through the spiritual work of the Church. This includes the provision and upkeep of a place of worship whilst having facilities for community use. We also provide support for the local community by helping those who are isolated, lonely and in need through a number of different activities and community support.

Samaritans is a registered charity aimed at providing emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland

Advancement of the Christian faith in the local area by supporting and encouraging the work of the individual Methodist Churches.

The Charity's object *the Object) is " the promotion of efficiency of the armed forces fo the Crown by the provision and support of faciclities and activities for the efficiency and well-being of Service personnel".

The principle activity is the provision of rental accommodation in the Parish of Kingsteignton.

PROVIDES GRANTS FOR INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS

Local Church activities public worship,weddings, funerals & child dedications. Parent and toddler group, marriage courses, youth group for 11-18's and kids club for 8-11's. The building facilitates back to work club, & boxing club.The building is used by the NHS, Social services and local authority for training, this is not an exhaustive list.Refugee support, and other charitable activities

FiG supports children, young people and their families living in North Devon and Torridge who have experienced the death of someone close to them.

The objectives of the Barnstaple Musical Comedy and Dramatic Society are 1) To educate the public in the dramatic and musical arts. 2) To further the development of public appreciation and taste in the dramatic and musical arts by the promotion and public performance of plays, drama, comedy and other dramatic and musical works.

Presenting to the public choral concerts and recitals

Worship services, midweek housegroups, youth and children's work, student events, community events, Alpha courses, parenting and marriage courses, drop-in centre providing for families in need, supporting the poor, sick and marginalised in the local community

Provides accommodation, housing for the elderly. Provides buildings/facilities/open spaces.

We support young people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or are questioning their sexuality or gender identity in Dorset, including Bournemouth and Poole. We also raise awareness of the challenges face by this group of young people to reduce incidences of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.

Bow Bears Pre-School CIO provide care and education for children from 6 months old to statutory school age. We operate from the Village Hall in Bow, Mid Devon, term time only.We also provide wrap around care & holiday clubs for the children of Bow Bears Pre-School CIO and those from Bow Community Primary School. Our wrap around care & holiday clubs operate from Bow Community Primary School

The WI exists to educate women, to enable them to provide an effective role in the community, expand their horizons and to develop and pass on skills. This is achieved through educational courses covering IT, cookery, craft, cultural pursuits, sport and health and many others. These are run by qualified tutors either at County level or our own Denman College.

COMPASS BRAILLE TRANSCRIBE/PRODUCE BRAILLE BIBLES/BOOKS IN MANY LANGUAGES FOR USE IN 120+ DESTINATIONS WORLDWIDE AT A COMPUTERISED BRAILLE PRODUCTION UNIT. OVERSEAS PARTNER GROUPS DISTRIBUTE THE BRAILLE TO OTHER GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THEIR COUNTRY/COMMUNITIES. THE BRAILLE IS USED IN CHURCH SITUATIONS, EDUCATION, VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND SELF-EMPLOYMENT SCHEMES, ETC.

To promote the conservation and protection of Exmoor National Park for the public benefit.

Expert providers in community engagement services for health improvement in the South West, enabling more disadvantaged groups to access health improvement and adopt positive lifestyles.

The support of professional performances and particpatory workshops through a network of volunteers in rural communites.

The purpose of the CIO is to relieve persons who are handicapped, aged, blind and otherwise disabled or disadvantaged in North Devon by providing transport such persons to and from such destinations as they require.
