A Church of England parish within the Diocese of Exeter, our main activities include regular worship and prayer, witnessing to the truth of the good news about Jesus Christ to the people of Kingsteignton. Members are active in local government, schools and charities, as councilors, trustees and governors, while healing, prayer and pastoral groups are all concerned with the local community.

An independently registered charity responsible for raising its own funds. We promote the health & wellbeing of anyone over 55 living in and around Kingsbridge. Our services include: daily drop-in 'Chatty Cafe' (Mon-Sat), lunch (Mon-Fri), breakfast (Sat), meals on wheels (Mon-Fri), home help & gardening support, advice & signposting, activities and support groups, room hire for community events.

Raising of funds for the Parish churches' upkeep through events such as fetes and exhibitions and also through service collections and donations.

Hatherleigh Pre-School provides Ofsted registered childcare Early years Education and child care for children under statutory school age. Based in Hatherleigh Community Centre in purpose built facilities providing services Monday - Friday term time only with core hours of 9am - 3pm with some extended days offering breakfast club 8.30am-9am and sessions 3 days per week during the summer holidays.

A Surf Life saving club, teaching a wide variety of people of all ages lifesaving skills, water safety and environmental awareness, first aid training and skills using craft in the water safely - local coastal protection and educational courses and practical skills from all ages that range between 5 yrs - 80 yrs. Providing voluntary beach patrols during summer season in absence of RNLI Lifeguards.

The Exeter Gateway Centre provides a five days a week drop-in centre for learning disabled individuals who are not catered for by Devon County Council's Social Services Department.Activities include practical life skills such as cooking and healthy eating, literacy support and working on an allotment provided by Exeter City Council.There are three paid workers and volunteers.

To provide care and education for young children between the ages of 2 years and 4 years 11 months, in a safe and stimulating environment. To provide children with interesting activities that are right for their age and stage of development, and provide a curriculum for the Early Years Foundation Stage of education.

The Trust provides grant funding to older people for their accommodation or care, particularly those in financial need, those who are frail or with disabilities, who live in Budleigh Salterton, East Budleigh, Otterton, Colaton Raleigh or Bicton. It is indiscriminate as to age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.

A grant making Charity established to help those suffering from physical or mental illness or disability, those suffering from financial hardship, and the elderly. Applicants must live within Devon, the Trust Deed stipulates a preference for those from East Devon. Charities, organisations and individuals are eligible to apply. All grants are awarded at the discretion of the Trustees

We are a Pre-school in Yealmpton and offer places to children aged from 2 to 5 years old. Yealmpton Pre-school also holds a parent and child playgroup on a tuesday morning for children aged between birth and 5 years for more details call 01752 881810

The Ockment Centre provides low cost meeting and hiring space for all members of the community. It provides training, meeting, counselling and office space for other organisations who in turn provide community services or benefits. The Centre also operates as a community hub signposting to other organisations, running a Work Club and other community activities.

The Charity governs The Keep Military Museum in Dorchester, in succession to The Devon and Dorset Military Museums Charity (1054956)

The object of the Trust is to advance the education of the public by the promotion, support, assistance and improvement of the Royal Albert Memorial Museum including its galleries, displays, collections, amenities and facilities, educational and research activities and community outreach and engagement programmes.

Newtown Community Pre-school is a friendly, community-based pre-school with professionally trained staff who work with parents to provide an exciting and varied programme for children aged 2-5 years.

The Relief of poverty amongst people who are, or may soon be, homeless or inadequately housed, through support programmes, advice and assistance concerning accommodation, food, clothing, hygiene and other basic needs.

The Gibbons Family Trust awards grants to children and young people up the age of 25 living in Devon (with preference for East Devon) and in the Isle of Thanet, Kent. Grants can be made for the education, training, recreation and general welfare of young people (but not private school fees). Registered charities, organisations, and individuals (references are required) are eligible to apply.

Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support provides support for everyone living with and beyond cancer. We offer regular friendly meetings both in Axminster and Lyme Regis so support and information can be accessed locally.

An Education Centre for Sustainable Living, open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Monkton Wyld Court provides residential and day courses and training in low impact, low carbon living and land based skills. Our resident community leads by example, making conscious choices to live a sustainable lifestyle. We also operate as an educational venue for a wide range of groups.
