Manage and maintain Cornworthy Village Hall. The hall is available for public hire and is used by a number of organisations/societies for sport and leisure activities as well as private parties. It is also the local polling station. The Committee holds fund raising events.

To promote the works of Gilbert and Sullivan, through performance on stage and in concert, and other works as the committee may decide.

Advertisements/posters are issued from time to time advising that residents of Bampton, Petton and Shillingford are able to apply for a small grant in cases of difficulty or unexpected financial need . The Trustees aim to meet up to four times each year to consider these. Ad hoc meetings are called if required.

Prodigal Bikes collects unwanted bikes in the UK. We refurbish them, then send them to Africa to help people there gain access to education, healthcare and employment. The bikes are prepared here by ex-offenders, ex-homeless people and school children at risk of exclusion. We teach them bike maintenance skills and inspire them towards further training and employment in Engineering related jobs.

Cotehele Quay Gig Club is situated at Cotehele National Trust in the Tamar Valley. The aim of the charity is to promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities to participate in the sport of Cornish Pilot Gig rowing, both recreationally and competitively.

As a village hall we are a venue for a wide range of social activities for the local community, and we also hire out the hall for various functions to cover the cost of maintaining the hall in good condition..
