Dartmouth Food Bank is a small independent charity run by volunteers. We mainly depend on money & food donations from the community residents & businesses. We support clients from Dartmouth & surrounding villages (7 mile radius).We are supported with other client connected organisations every week. Also offer free cafe and activity club

Everything Ellie was created to relieve the needs of young people with life threatening or life limiting illness, or families who are affected by the impact of terminal illness in the South West of England by: a) Providing short term respite, andb) Making grants to charities local to the South West of England.

Chesil Sailability is dedicated to helping disabled people of all ages to experience sailing, most in specially adapted boats, and to helping them go as far in the sport as their enthusiasm and ability takes them. We are based at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy and most of our sailors & volunteers live in South Dorset, but we aim to exclude no one who wants to take part!

Bovey Tracey Youth Cafe operates in Bovey Tracey and helps young people, especially but not exclusively through leisure time activities, so to develop their physical and mental capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

PORTHTOWAN SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB OPERATES ON THE NORTH CORNISH COAST TRAINING LIFEGUARDS IN THE SKILLS OF SAVING LIVES AT SEA. WE HAVE AN ACTIVE JUNIOR AND NIPPER SECTION, ENCOURAGING YOUNG PEOPLE TO PARTAKE IN OUR PHYSICALLY DEMANDING AND EXCITING SERVICE. OUR SENIOR SECTION INCLUDES OUR SURF BOAT TEAMS WHICH ARE CONSISTENTLY THE BEST IN EUROPE.

The principle purpose of this charity is to provide equipment for use in hospital and hospital based Community Services for which, we are informed, funding is not available. To enhance these services and to aid new projects. to assist and support patients and staff to provide a link between hospital and public.

For the public benefit to promote individual and inclusive dementia friendly based activities and services for people with dementia, their carers and families in the communities of the parishes of Wembury, Brixton, Yealmpton, Newton & Noss and Holbeton in the County of Devon ;To support people living with dementia and their families to remain active and involved in their community.

The charity distributes small sums of money to cases of individual hardship or need - BUT only to cases known to the trustees or through organisations known to the trustees. Unsolicited requests will not be supported or responded to. All grants are dealt with by written communication with any trustee.The charity also owns a small parcel of land managed for biodiversity.

We enjoy worshipping God together, Bible study, being active and serving the community, as well as sharing together as God works in the lives of his people and especially those thinking about the Christian faith for the first time. The church is active in running our own project, The ARK. This facility is used twice weekly as a drop-in coffee shop/cafe and is used frequently for youth projects.
