THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A LIBRARY FOR PROMOTING THE STUDY AND KNOWLEDGE OF LITERATURE AND ALL ARTISTIC AND SCIENTIFIC SUBJECTS WITH THE OBJECT OF ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THEPUBLIC PARTICULARLY WITHIN THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH AND THE COUNTIES OF DEVON AND CORNWALL

We support children from humble backgrounds to remain in education also equipping the institutions.We finance feeding programs to minimise malnutrition amongst disabled children and encourage better inclusion of disabled children into education and their local community. We respond to initiatives within the community to develop income generating projects.

The Cooper Associates Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Cooper Associates Group, acting to support charities through clients and partners associated with the Cooper Associates community. Our giving is guided by themes, with the main focus on children and young people who have special needs through illness or disability, or who are disadvantaged in other ways.

This Charity was dormant up until 31st July 2014. From that date it began to take over the activities of The Charles Causley Trust (charity number 1102459). Its objects are the advancement of education in literature and poetry, particularly in relation to the works of Charles Causley, and the maintenance of Cyprus Well. Grants are made to potential writers and poets from Cornwall and Devon.

Soundwaves facilitates a number of social and creative music making groups with people who experience learning disabilities. These activities include singing, playing instruments, writing and performing original songs and music.

Our aim is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music by the presentation of public concerts and performances and by such other ways as the association through its committee shall determine from time to time. We aim to promote the public understanding and engagement with science through performing at Science Festivals.

THE PROVISION OF POSITIVE ACTIVITIES FOR RURAL YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 10 TO 28

Youth club activities for the Children and Young people of the village of Princetown and the surrounding areas of Dartmoor, Devon

Entertainment, recreational and social events, and activities for all ages including the local primary school. General meetings in purpose built meeting room. Hire of annex for child care, but is available for use in the evenings and at weekends for the community.

Provision and maintenance of a community building for use by local organizations.
