An exhibition of memorabilia of the 1952 Lynmouth Flood Disaster and memorabilia of the Lynmouth Lifeboat (removed in 1944). The Memorial Hall was built on the site of the Lifeboat destroyed in 1952.

To promote the general purpose of the work of the Young Men's Christian Association Movement for the physical, intellectual and spiritual, fitness, training and well being of youth in accordance with the rules and principles adopted by the National Council of YMCAs area of benifit being South West England

A. To promote the education of persons who:- 1) are under 25 & 2) are in need of financial assistance & 3) are attending/have attended at any time or are about to attend school, preference being given to persons resident in parish of Kingsbridge. B. To provide items/services & facilities for the school.

Provision of website for members use, outdoor activities and individual supported challenges and educational projects. Social events for the group. provision of grants for individual use in IT communications, education and personal development. Raising public awareness of deafness in children and public awareness through newsletter and public signing events.

The main activity of the charity is to raise funds to support and advance the education of the pupils of West Hill Primary School (EX11 1UQ). The main events are a village fete in June and a winter ball in November.

THE CLUB ORGANISE VARIOUS FUNDRAISING EVENTS SUCH AS LOCAL CARNIVAL, SWIMARATHON, STALLS AT VARIOUS LOCAL EVENTS ALSO WE RUN A HOLIDAY HOME FOR THE THE DISABLED, WHICH IS LEASED AT A LOCAL HOLIDAY PARK.THESE EVENTS ARE ORGANISED TO RAISE FUNDS THAT ARE USED FOR INTERNATIONAL, NATION AND LOCAL CAUSE. ALL THE EVENTS ARE IN ILFRACOMBE AND DISTRICT AREA.

Receipt of funds for the distribution of gifts for missionary work

To relieve patients at Derriford Hospital Kidney Unit by providing or assisting in the provision of equipment or facilities occasionally providing educational and training assistance for patients and renal staff.

Provision and maintenance of a community building for the public and inhabitants of Buckland Monachorum and the surrounding area. We provide facilities for leisure and recreational activities for all age groups and social and economic circumstances, with the object of improving the conditions of life primarily for the local public as will be consistent with advancing the Christian faith.

Provision of financial assistance in the form of Grants to students, resident in the counties of Devon & Cornwall, for their Further or Higher Education.

To preserve and present the history of aviation in the southwest of England in general, and the Blackdown Hills in particular, and to inform and educate the general public of that history through a programme of communication (e.g. via web-site, newsletters, lectures & talks, etc.), events and displays.

TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY ANY MEANS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT, INCLUDING THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS.

Management, maintenance and fundraising to ensure the continued availability of the playing field to the residents and village organisations.

SOCOPS operates 2 youth groups in Exeter, accessed by young people with a diagnosis of Aspergers syndrome or high functioning Autism. Socops provides social opportunities and support for the entire family including parents and siblings.The youth group for 8-15 year olds is based at a community centre and meets weekly.The youth group for 15+ meets at different venues in the community.

The Trust manages Loddiswell Village Hall and Playing Field for the social, leisure and recreational benefit of the residents of the Parish of Loddiswell, regardless of race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, faith, disability, or sex.

KAG helps support projects for spiritual, humanitarian & educational within Burma & Thailand.- Provide relief aid to homeless Karen on the Thai-Burmese boarder.- Helping to set up long term sustainable projects to help in agriculture & education for the Karen people.- Supporting student education in a Bible school in Chang Mai, North Thailand.Educating within UK about Karen issues

WORDWISE, a Christian resource centre, is run by 6 Trustees, and a number of volunteers. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 10.0am to 4.00pm. Donations of time and money are given by local Christians. A small coffee shop provides a warm welcome and a listening ear. We continue to have a sense of our prominent Christian presence in the centre of Kingsbridge.

To maintain existing almshouse for residents in the parish of Washfield and Tiverton who are elderly and on low income.To make grants to help residents in the parish Washfield and Tiverton with small one-off payments for specified purposes.
