Fund Raising Events

St Luke's Proprietary Chapel has regular services & special festivals at Christmas, Easter & Harvest.Licensed for Christenings, Marriages & Burials.Fund raising events benefit at least 1 local charity & we seek to include the wider community.The Grade II listed building, of local volcanic stone & of some historic interest is well maintained & the grounds offer a quiet space for visitors.

Village Hall providing a base for a number of Village organisations and clubs, also available for private functions. Available for hire to outside village organisations.

We mainly have fund raising events to raise money for the school to enhance the children's learning experience.

Fund-raising and social activities for the benefit of the pupils of Stoke Canon Primary School.Funds used to pay for equipment, activities and events not provided for in the school budget.

Blackborough Village Hall Charity is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Village hall enabling it to provide the social activities and events to the local community.

D.O.S. is a community based orchestra open to orchestral players of all ages who wish to improve their musical skills.Rehearsals take place on a weekly basis, and the orchestra normally performs three public concerts per year,two of which would be in aid of a local charities when funds permit.

The charity looks to organise lettings for events ,raise money by fund raising and grant application .This funding is used to maintain the 34 acres the charity owns by way of land management, trees, grass cutting general repairs to boundary fences ,security gates ,footpaths and providing facilities for events to be placed on our fields

The Association provides help to those in need by reason of being sick, housebound, aged or disabled. We provide a voluntary car service for transport to clinics, hospitals, health centres, dentists and other medical facilities; a visitor service for lonely or housebound; assistance in the collection of prescriptions.

Contribute to repairs and other expenditure on Churches in the former Parish of St Mary Arches Church (now part of the Parish of Central Exeter)

The encouragement of more widespread performance of Wind Band music thoughout the Brecon and surrounding area. The training of young musicians.

Relief of need either generally or individually of persons resident in the Parish of Chagford, the promotion of Education, including social and Physical Training, of persons who are under thae age of 25 and in need of finacial assistance and the day to day management of the community property, known as Endecott House, for the benifit of current and future parishioners of the said Parish

Provide bursaries for choristers at Exeter cathedral school.

FOSS is a fund raising committee and charity run by volunteer parents which raises funds through a series of village based events such as Wassail and other themed fairs throughout the year. FOSS is a member of the National Confederation of Parent Teacher Associations.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants in particular, but without limitation, of the Parish of Bridford without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:a) Meetings, lectures and classes, andb) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

We run events in school, usually utilising their facilities. Events can be summer and xmas fairs, childrens discos, events around christmas. Or anything else to raise money to go toward the school.
