Community Activities i.e. sport, luncheon, meetings, dramas, parties, wedding receptions, funeral wakes, village school events etc

We are a group of parents,teachers and friends who hold various activities and events to raise money to provide extra things for the children at our school. During the past 2 year we haven't been able to have many events due to covid but what money we have raised and we have paid for playtime equipments, books and other things to enrich the lives of the children at our school.

The provision & management of music rehersal space in Teignmouth as a non profit making facility for the local community to use,

Provides Christow Primary School with items and activities to complement and enhance learning.

Provides advice, training and other assistance to farmers and their immediate trainers and advisers in developing countries, also runs courses on college administration in Devon and overseas for foreign nationals of developing countries.

The object is to advance the education of the public by collecting,preserving and exhibiting collections of period costumes and accessories connected therewith and to establish and maintain a public museum or place for storing.The main activities in relation to these objects are designing and mounting an annual exhibition and continuing the collection and care of the said objects.

Cornwood School PTA

Our hall is a converted school. It consists of hall, committee room, well equipped kitchen & toilets. It offers a focal point for the village to meet for social and fund raising events, such as Pilates, short mat bowls, Band practice, Messy Church children's activities and other events. Both residents and non residents can book the hall, For bookings up to 70 people. Hire rates very reasonable.

Management of facilities at Brixton

The charity trustees arrange various fundraising and social events throughout the year to maintain the Village Hall and grounds for the use of the village and surrounding area.

TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF WOODBURY AND SURROUNDING AREAS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS.

The organisation raises money through events such as cake sales, school fetes and non uniform days, sponsorship and donations.

To advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:1. developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school;2. engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

The Chagford Singers is a non-audition community choir in Chagford on Dartmoor, open to all. We meet weekly during term time for rehearsing and developing choral skills and prepare for three or more concerts a year, sometimes in collaboration with other musical groups. Our aim is to make singing an enjoyable experience for all and to bring a wide repertoire to our audiences in a rural location.

Investment income used for grants for local organisations

SOWRA aims to advance the standards and raise awareness of regional anaesthesia and pain management amongst the general public and medical profession. SOWRA provides a forum for networking for health professionals, provides training and educational activities and supports clinical and basic science research in the field of regional anaesthesia and pain management through research grants.

To plan and provide affordable leisure activities to the people of Totnes and surrounding areas, working in partnership with Fusion Lifestyle Ltd who manage the Centre's daily operations. The Charity monitors the performance of Fusion Lifestyle through a management agreement. The Charity undertakes fund raising to assist in the improvement of the facilities.
