Fund raising for the Rotary Club of Brixham Trust Fund, the proceeds of which are donated to worthy local causes, Rotary causes both in the U.K. and Internationally and disaster appeals.

We are an organisation of some 100 members who each pay a subscription. We also run fundraining events eg. car boot sale, fun evening . Our Funds go to maintain the church building .

Ide Memorial Hall is the village hall for Ide. It provides facilities for community activities such as meetings, fitness and dance, drama, choir, art group and similar. The Hall is also available for private hire for children's parties and receptions and the like. All age groups are catered for. The Hall has recently undergone an extensive renovation with modernised toilets and kitchen.

The principal aims and objects of the organisation are to provide advance education to the public in all aspects of the Latin Cultures,Arts,History,Music and Language.The organisation operates their activities inside and outside of United Kingdon

We maintain The Goosefield Millenium Green as an open space available to any member of the public. It is also used for suitable village activities and celebrations.

To promote for the benefit of the local inhabitants and organisations of Chulmleigh, the surrounding area and the public at large the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances.

Educational and friendship activities.

Combeposters runs a green waste recycling scheme in Combe Martin, North Devon. We collect green garden waste from local residents and produce compost and related products. The products are distributed back into the local community. We recruit and train volunteers to operate the scheme. We use income generated by the scheme to fund local community groups.

We rescue small/medium dogs from shelters in Romania, where they are neglected, tortured, abused or even brutally killed. We pay for the dogs to be tested, spayed and prepped for travel (passport, vaccinations, microchip) and we pay for their transport to our rescue centre near Tiverton, Devon. They are assessed and then rehomed, mainly in the South West.
