The International Society for Biomolecular Archaeology (ISBA) is an international community of researchers working on degraded biological remains from a range of archaeological and paleontological contexts. The society has an educational purpose, and aims to promote the study of ancient biomolecules to better understand our shared past. We provide micro-grants, bursaries, and prizes.

We work mainly in Sub-Sahara Africa focusing on poverty relief and prevention, promotion of religious and racial harmony and the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment. It is not simply a translation of the Quran, but is written in a poetry format without adding certain words to translate the Quran.
