The charity holds an annual show to promote agricultural, horticultural, livestock breeding and arts and crafts for the benefit of the public.

To provide facilities/coaching and equipment so physically disabled people can play wheelchair basketball. The ages start from 6 yrs to 50+. Levels are beginners/recreational and competition (national league and international)The club raises awareness of disability through sport in and around the local community.

To support locally based projects where mission is the keynote of church life. To encourage congregational growth, initiatives to attract and retain young people and community outreach projects. To support initiatives which encourage working across parish boundaries and environmental & "green" community issues. Including funding for gap year students or pastoral assistants.

Rotary Club based in Doncaster raising funds locally for distribution to both local and national/international causes. Donations are primarily made to local charitable organisations. Small donations can be made to support individual families caring for a child suffering with a profound illness or disabilty. Requests for such donations must be made via the local NHS children's services team.

Supporting those adults negatively affected by someone else's legal/illegal substance use. Once located they are offered a comprehensive assessment of their holistic needs, covering immediate crisis, physical and psychological well being, resilience and advice and guidance. We support, energise and strengthen families so they are able to create a lifestyle that does not support substance misuse.

Church services are on Sundays at 11am. We hold coffee mornings, open days, meditation sessions, and social events to raise awareness of Unitarianism and to raise funds. We also fundraise through our charity shop on Hall Gate. The church supports a number of local organisations that help vulnerable communities.

Work in schools in the Doncaster area teaching the Christian Gospel to students via lessons, assemblies and out of school clubs, and to teach other Christians to assist in this work.

PROVIDE HOMES FOR RETIRED MINERS

THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS THE PROVISION OF AN INSTITUTE, SPORTS AND RECREATION GROUND FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS ( AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, SUCH OF THE SAID INHABITANTS AS ARE MEMBERS OF THE MINING COMMUNITY ) OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING CONDITIONS OF THE LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

The charity provides help in the local community to those people needing to re-home their cats, taking in stray cats handed in to the vets or roaming in the local community, and for those looking to adopt a cat. We also run a trap, neuter, return scheme for feral cats located in the area. We have referred to the guidance contained in the charity commission's general guidance on public benefit.
