The Trust seeks to promote schemes of lasting benefit to people in mining and former mining communities in the Yorkshire area within the objects of the CISWO charity and which may be determined from time to time by the CISWO charity.

Assisting the widows and orphans in society by meeting their material and spiritual needs. Running projects that will provide funds to cater for the vulnerable in the community and also do religious activities to meet people's spiritual needs.

Promoting the availability and quality of association football for boys and girls in full-time education, through coaching and the provision of inter-school/college and inter-county competitions and fixtures. And to help other organisations who promote health and education to schoolchildren in South Yorkshire

The Sheffield Recreation band was formed in 1900 and has a long history and heritage with the city centre of Sheffield and also the steel industry within the wider areas of the city, of which the band are very proud. In May 2025 the band will celebrate its 125th year. We have worked very hard to attract a wide age range within our band 13 years to over 70 years.

We make grants to registered charities only.

Doncaster Mencap provides two gateway club nights ( Wed/Thurs) for members. A carers group has been established with meetings once a month over the lunch period with guest speakers. Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council now rent part of our buildin monthly, for use as a day centre for adults with learning disabilities. This is enabling us to bring our building up to standard.

The Comforts Fund is for the relief of patients at Montagu Hospital Mexborough who are sick,convalescent,handicapped or infirm; the provision of amenities in the hospital for patients & staff & generally in support of the charitable work of the hospital.

we are a Brass Band who provides concerts and takes parts in contest. for the enjoyment of both the band members and the public

Provides grants for students in tertiary education.

Accommodation/Housing for elderly/old people.Provides buildings/faclities/open space.

We are an educational organisation, members are from in and around Doncaster, retired or semi-retired . Approximately 42 groups, each with a Group Leader, drawing on skills from within the group. Monthly meetings with hired speakers, bi-monthly newsletter , weekly coffee morning, vibrant informative website. Occasional visits and trips, theatre visits.

The provision of monies to assist the P.C.C. of The Church of St Lawrence, Hatfield to pay for 1. the running costs maintenance improvement restoration and reconstruction of the church and its churchyard and 2. the costs of the worship and mission of the church in the Ecclesiastical Parish of St Lawrence, Hatfield in South Yorkshire.

We are a Scout Group giving young people the opportunity to make new friends, have amazing adventures and learn new skills.
