To develop the capacity and skills of the residents of the socially and economically disadvantaged community of Edlington and its environs in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully.

Rescue and care of stray, feral and unwanted cats in order to find responsible and loving new homes for them.Educate the public on animal welfare and responsible cat ownership.

For the benefit of the public there will be worship services, teaching sessions for all, children and seniors' work, public celebration of Christian festivals, prayer, and outreach by distributing literature on the Christian faith. To assist this working through our Drop-in centre the Junction we seek to help in the relief of needy persons.

DRAX PLAYGROUP HAS BRANCHED OUT AND HAS NOW OPENED A PRESCHOOL IN THORNE TRADING AS THORNE FLOWERPOTS WITH THE MOTTO WATCH US GROW. WE STILL RUN UNDER DRAX PLAYGROUP UNDER THE SAME VOLUNTARY MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. WE AIM TO PROVIDE GOOD QUALITY EARLY YEARS EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AGED 2-5 YRS.

The objectives of the Air Training Corps are:a. To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviationand the Royal Air Force.b. To provide training which will be useful both in Service and in civilian life.c. To foster the spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of leadership andgood citizenship.

The Charity exists to help students at state comprehensives in northern England access leading universities, where they are currently very under-represented.

The Tassibee Project aims to increase the capacity of, and opportunities for, isolated and socially excluded Mirpuri and Punjabi Asian women in Rotherham. Participate in outreach and capacity building initiatives that are targeted to meet the needs of isolated, non-literate, non-English speaking women who do not access existing services.

HELP AND ASSISTANCE FOR PARENTS AND FAMILIES OF SICK CHILDREN IN HOSPITAL OR WHO HAVE SADLY BEEN BEREAVED

The centre provides a wide range of activities and project accessible by members of the local community. It is primarily aimed at the elderly and disabled, children and young people as well as the wider community. This may involve access to day care provision, Education & Training,Healthy Living activities etc The centre works with local groups and organisations to help deliver community project

RAP ensures adults and children over 18 years with learning Disabilities, Mental Health and are vulnerable understand their choices and rights and have a voice about their lives. An independent organisation committed to the high standards of advocacy service on behalf of people with a learning disability or difficulty.We advocate to represent the interests of the service user at all times.

The charity provides alternative educational services to underprivileged young people and those disengaged with main stream schooling in the South Yorkshire area with an emphasis on physical activities that will help to deal with anger, aggression, health, team building, cooperation, development of social skills, and a respect for others.

We rescue & rehome dogs in need from Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. We care and look after them until a permanent home is found no matter how long it takes.

The mission statement of St Mary's Church states that our purpose is to worship and serve the Lord. The PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the church pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

THE CHARITY PROVIDES SPORT AND RECREATION FACILITIES INCLUDING BUILDINGS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

We provide an education for children aged 2 years to 4 years 11 months.

As a church, we are responsible for providing public acts of worship, as well as provision of services to promote the Christian gospel in the community.
