Home-Start Blackmore Vale helps build better lives for children. It supports isolated, struggling and vulnerable families either in their own homes, or through group work. The family must have a least one child under 5 years. The support enables them to cope with difficulties through a network of trained volunteers who work with the family according to their individual needs.

The Christchurch Community Partnership was established to improve the economic, social and environmental well-being and the quality of life of those people who live in, work in and visit Christchurch.

To stimulate public interest and care for the landscape, wildlife, archaeology, architecture, heritage and history of East Dorset and Dorset as a whole.

StreetLight is an indoor Skate park and cafe. We run activities and events on the park, like Girl skate nights, who let the dads out, kids parties. and many more events. We also run in the cafe, film and discussion evenings. skater bible study. and lots of one off events. Through everything we do we aim to reach those who have not herd of Jesus and introduce them to him .

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit in the areas of Sturminster Newton, Gillingham, Shaftesbury, Sherborne and Blandford, and surrounding villages by preventing people from becoming socially isolated.Our projects include Stour-Shed, a member of Mens Shed UK, hot lunch delivery service, adapted sporting facilities. Lunch Clubs. Transport to medical appointments etc.

To provide accessible and affordable community transport to a rural area of South Somerst. The transport is for eligble groups and individuals who are socially, economically or physically disadvantaged and to encorage greater community participation of these people and those who are geographically isolated.

We run arts based holiday clubs and workshops that inspire children aged 6 to 14yrs, prioritising the less advantaged, offering free arts education and chances to work with local professional artists. We also provide a programme for teens offering training to gain arts qualifications and leadership skills.

Sharing God's love in the local community, through word and action. Being an inclusive, welcoming, worshipping community centred on the Holy Scriptures. Our Mission statement motto is 'Knowing Jesus Christ and making Him known' and we seek to encourage a faith journey for young and old, male and female regardless of previous experience or none.

THE PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF THE CHURCH IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE BAPTIST DENOMINATION. THE CHURCH MAY ALSO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND CARRY OUT OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND/OR OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD.

The objects of the CIO are the advancement of the Christian faith for the public benefit among children and young people and their families

We are a church committed to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to the local community of Weymouth and surrounding area. Our 'strapline' is "Sharing the Gospel, Making Disciples" and to that end there are many regular activities for people of all ages. Sunday morning worship is aimed at making the bible relevant to everyday life and the issues which confront us all today.

Supporting children with cancer up to the age of 16 years old in the south of England by arranging special and memorable experiences in the UK with their families to make long lasting memories. We support children with cancer under the care of Southampton Children's Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Royal Marsden or University College London Hospital.

The Bournemouth Aviation Museum is now situated opposite the airport in the grounds of Adventure Wonderland .The museum is open every day during the summer 10am till 5pm and at weekends in the winter from 10am until 4pm. The museum will only be closed during this time due to adverse weather or shortage of volunteers. We always need more volunteers to keep the museum open.

Varied Youth Work, mainly in schools, across Dorset

We provide play and learn sessions for children from two to five years of age in an educational and stimulating environment.

To assist in repair and conservation of the Priory Church and its contents and generally to support the work of the church.

(a) To support and relieve people affected by multiple sclerosis in the Bournemouth and East Dorset area;(b) To encourage people affected by multiple sclerosis to attain their full potential as members of society by improving their conditions of life.We operate a centre in West Parley where people with multiple sclerosis can meet, exercise & socialise with each other.

Our volunteers are restoring Shillingstone Station on the old Somerset and Dorset Railway, with a section of the original line, to how it was in the 1950s/60s. Work includes the renovation of the station buildings, platforms and railway infrastructure, plus the restoration of heritage rolling stock. We have a small museum, shop and cafe, for the benefit of local residents, visitors and volunteers.

Project Food aims to support people living in poverty to eat a nutritious diet irrespective of their income, so that they can enjoy better physical and mental health. We help people to develop the skills and confidence they need to prepare nutritious food for the future. We focus on resilience, supporting people to develop ways to eat that fit in to their lives and support their health.

Religious activities to all age groups, to include people with disabilities and to other charities and voluntary organisations.
