The Charity provides educational , recreational and social activities in the Ferndown area of Dorset for those no longer in full-time employment. Currently there about 90 groups. Most activities are held from mid-September until the end of May. The subscription is £40 for our accounting year. We have approximately 560 members.

The PAW Festival aims to encourage appreciation of the arts across the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset area by staging a wide range of performances and art exhibitions. It encourages and promotes artists who live or work in Purbeck . We want to encourage younger people, support emerging artists, be adventurous and stimulate as well as inform as wide an audience as possible.

THE PAYMENT OF INCOME ARISING FROM INVESTMENTS TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF PUPIL STUDENTS (OR TO STUDY) AT SHERBORNE SCHOOL TO SUBSIDISE THE FEES PAYABLE TO THE SCHOOL.

Dreadnought promotes the voices of women through the arts and engages with women of all ages and backgrounds. Dreadnought make special efforts to engage with women who may be isolated for social, geographic, cultural and/or economic reasons. In 2018 Dreadnought are running a series of projects throughout the year. Full details of the projects can be found on our website.

By providing a fully dedicated Self-Care Co-ordinator, who organises a range of gentle activitiesthat promote a healthy lifestyle. The Co-ordinator also provides practical guidance and support tomembers who face the challenge of managing, or recovering from ME/CFS. Other support includes monthly meetings across Dorset, twice year newsletters, updates on latest research, helpful events.

The pre-school continues to provide excellent pre-school education to the under 5's in the village and surrounding areas. We offer sessions on a daily basis with full day sessions being available 5 days a week. We offer 2 year old funding places and 3 and 4 year olds and we provide the 30hrs places. Fundraising is maintained and still is continuing success.

To assist the spiritual, moral, educational and physical needs of deaf and hard of hearing people in the Diocese of Salisbury and the Deanery of Swindon

We run breakfast, after school and holiday clubs for children aged 3 to 12 in the Wareham and Purbeck area. We raise funds to keep fees as low as possible.

The principal activity of the charity will aim to raise funds from an annual golf day and related events, including sponsorship and donations. These funds will then be used to provide relief to children and young people, within the area of Dorset and surrounding counties, who are suffering from physical or learning disabilities, in line with the Charity's objective.

Pre-School catering for children from the age of 2 years to school age

The proclamation of the Christian Gospel in Bridport and surrounding districts through regular Sunday Services, house groups, outreach activities in the town centre, joint activities with Churches Together in Bridport. Youth work, Mother and Toddler Group, Alpha Courses, regular charitable donations of 15% of our income.

Leukaemia Busters funds potentially life saving research into the development of new improved and safer biologic therapies for patients with haematological malignancies (blood cancers). Leukaemia Busters, formerly a charitable trust registered in 1992 (reg No 1010957) now operates as a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) since 21 May 2014.

LEARNING THROUGH PLAY

The objectives of Poole University of the Third Age (U3A) is the advancement of education, leisure time, and recreational activities of middle aged and older persons no longer in gainful employment, residing in Poole and the surrounding area. These objectives are achieved by the organising and running of educational and leisure courses, using rented venues and member's homes.

The charity recruits tutors to lead groups to discuss or participate in a wide variety of topics and activities. We provide venues for about 100 classes ranging from academic subjects such as languages, literature, writing, philosophy and history to more active pursuits such as tennis, badminton, dancing, cycling, walking and keep-fit exercising, music and drama.

Gathering information about poverty locally and nationally and disseminating this to the public in and around Dorchester. Setting up projects and/or campaigning about specific poverty issues. Running a Fund to make grants to people who live in the DT1 and DT2 area who are in a financial crisis, are referred by a recognised agency and to whom a small amount of money would make a difference.

A church including youth work and missionary activity

Musical advancement of members through a band structure set up to develop and support players of any age from beginners through to professional standard. Musical entertainment through concerts and performances. Participation and promotion of musical activities though contests and concerts. Raising money for other charities through collections and provision of entertainment at fund raising events

Training/development for effective practical application of objectives. Courses for public benefit: Healing conferences and inner healing, available to all local churches and individuals; financial support to local charities, food bank, homeless, and international crises; and support to Schools and Care Homes. Christian counsel to children, familiesor individuals online or in person.

The Church has continued to hold services on Sundays and Thursdays with additional functions, sometimes open to the public, on other occasions through the month. We have supported some external charities in response to appeals and we continue to be self sufficient for our own funding from contributions provided by our own members of which we currently have 177 registered

To advance education for public benefit in Polish language, culture, tradition and heritage within the Polish community.Improving the ability to use the Polish language in terms of individual skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing.Actions for national minorities including supporting integration and conducting additional activities for children.

the Charity continues to operate as a youth centre in the Southbourne area of Bournemouth, being one of the oldest youth clubs in the country where thousands of young people have benefited over 100 plus years. The centre has had its first year open in the new guise as a world class My Place centre meeting the needs of young people in the 21st century.
