SERV Wessex provides a free out of hours transportation service for NHS Hospitals in the Wessex area, 365 days per year, between 19:00 and 06:00 weekday evenings and 24hrs a day at weekends and on public holidays. SERV Wessex transports blood products and other urgent consignments allowing hospitals to divert financial and staff resources elsewhere.

WE PROVIDE ADVICE AND EXPERTISE, MAKE GRANTS TO LOCAL GROUPS IN NEED, RAISE FUNDING, ASSIST OTHER GROUPS TO RAISE FUNDING AND HELP TRAIN AND EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE AND OTHERS.

The Officers Mess is a military fund, that holds functions for serving personnel and their families as well as supporting various other functions in the local community.

General community activities.

The aims of Blandford Museum are to record, conserve and display all aspects of the prehistory and history of Blandford and the surrounding region, and to bring the records and displays to the attention of the public. Recording is accomplished by maintaining archives and library facilities and making these available to the public; display of Blandford history is managed by means of exhibitions.

We have been running services, courses, outreach, and several ministries around the town for nearly 21 years now.We are a member of the New Frontiers church movement and specifically the Commission group that is headed up by Guy Miller. We are also a member of the Evangelical Alliance and subscribe to their values and beliefs.We run a Sunday morning meeting and several mid week meetings.

To encourage and promote knowledge of archaeology, ethnology, history, natural history and kindred sciences painting and arts and crafts especially in relation to the parish of Verwood, Dorset.
