The Mere and District Day Centre is an independent charity which provides a safe and caring place for older people to meet on Mondays and Fridays throughout the year. They enjoy a range of stimlulating activities, together with a hot lunch. Most of our guests live locally to Mere or the surrounding villages, but some come from further afield if they have no provision in their own area.

We provide exercise classes for people with cardiac problems and the public generally.

The provision of sex and relationship education to children and young people in secondary schools in the Poole and Bournemouth Area and such parts of the UK as the trustees may from time to time determine.

Village Hall for the use of all residents of the village and all Arts that are within the scope of the hall

The principal activity of the charity is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and the appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects. A further aim is to share live music with people who might not otherwise experience it; to present music in both expected and unexpected places.

This charity provides transport for people with disablities so that they can access goods and services in the east Dorset area. The charity also co-ordinates community activities with representation from a wide range of organisations.Vision Wimborne also manages a local project which enables visitors to enjoy a stretch of the river Stour on the outskirts of town.

To establish a Fabric Fund to prvide funds to repair,improve St.Nicholas Church Studland and to provide funds for other religious work in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Studland

The objects of the Branch shall be seek to improve, protect and preserve for the benefit of the public, the countryside and the market towns and rural villages of the County of Dorset.

To provide almshouses accommodation to those in need who are or who have been inhabitants of Portesham and the neighbourhood thereof with a preference for such persons who are retired agriculture or horticultural workers.

Musical Theatre production

Activities include weekly coffee morning, community lunch, evening prayer, Bible study or Missionary evening. There is a parent and toddler group and evening youth group. The church provides an office for the local CAP team and support mission around the world.

The Charity acts as local manager of the recreation ground at Bere Regis, responsible for the day to day management and upkeep of both the field and buildings on site, bound by the terms of a Deed of Dedication, agreed with 'Fields in Trust'. The objects of the club are to support social, recreational and sporting activities at the ground.

Sherborne Museum aims to increase public awareness, appreciation and understanding of Sherborne's natural, historic and cultural heritage through the acquisition, preservation and display of a unique collection of items that are particularly relevant to the area. We aim to provide a centre of inspiration, education and enjoyment for all in a friendly and welcoming environment.

The preparation, study and performance of choral and orchestral music for the public. To study and prepare existing music and to commission new works. To facilitate arts activity in the local community.

We provide out of school activities for young people from the age of 10 to 18 with the view to assist with their physical, social and health education and development as well as offering life skills training schemes. The activities take place over 4 evenings a week during term time at the Corfe Mullen Community Hub and are supervised by trained youth leaders.
