We maintain a healthy membership upwards of 60 attending Wednesday evenings. The Corona Virus has forced us to replace face to face rehearsals with Zoom meetings, and all concerts have been cancelled. We have had small numbers of personnel at our hall when lockdown restrictions permitted. We continue to support our venue and our musicians to maintain relationships for the future.

The Society strives to support and promote choral singing in the community; to improve the standard of singing of the Choir members through teaching and rehearsal. It particularly aims to recruit younger members. It aims to perform concerts at least once a year.

The Collegium Singers (formally Taunton Camerata) is a chamber choir based in Taunton, Somerset Our aim is to give public concerts & workshops that improve, develop & maintain public education in the art & science of choral music. The choir numbers 25, is open to all subject to audition and gives 4-6 concerts a year in Somerset & surrounding counties, many supporting charitable causes.

Village hall use for local activities including art and dance classes, table tennis, whist, bingo, WI, Chideock Society, village lunch, weddings and quiz nights etc

OUR WORK INCLUDES, FIRE PREVENTION, ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR E.G FIRESETTING, COMMUNITY RESILIENCE AND SAFE DRIVING. WE PROVIDE ADVICE AND EXPERTISE, MAKE GRANTS TO LOCAL GROUPS IN NEED, RAISE FUNDING, ASSIST OTHER GROUPS TO RAISE FUNDING AND HELP TRAIN AND EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE AND OTHERS.

THE PROVISION, MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT AND PROMOTION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN GREENHILL GARDENS IN WEYMOUTH, DORSET

Fundraising and social events to serve the community of Halstock and the surrounding villages. This includes the provision Sport including badminton and short mat bowls, Artsreach presentations and meetings and events of several organisations and charities. Art classes, coffee mornings with crafts. Parties Flower Show.

Churches Together in Dorset is the intermediate Ecumenical body for the County of Dorset and the Borough of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and serves the churches and local ecumenical groups throughout its area. It seeks to unite in pilgrimage those churches in the county in common witness and service.

THE VILLAGE HALL IS HIRED TO CLUBS AND GROUPS FOR THERE USE EG: YOGA CLUB, DANCE CLUB, BOWLS CLUB, BROWNIES ETCTHE HALL IS ALSO HIRED OUT FOR PARTIES AND SOCIAL EVENTS. Also for meetings such as Parish Council and Old Comrades Association

Primarily to maintain the Churchyard of the Church of St. Mary in the Parish of Tarrant Rushton in the County of Dorset. Thereafter to maintain the said Church and to assist with the maintenance of the four neighbouring churches in the Tarrant Valley.

TO ASSIST OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS BY MAKING GRANTS TO THEM.

Providing Financial Assistance to deserving pupils of Milton Abbey School who would otherwise be unable to join or remain at the School for the Sixth Form.
