Established to build a substantial endowment fund to support projects in the village of Cattistock, Dorset. The object of the CIO is: "such charitable purposes for the public benefit as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales, within the area of Cattistock in the County of Dorset and the surrounding area, as the trustees may from time to time determine".

Request for grants are considered from residents of Litton Cheney only.1. School leavers going to university, apprenticeships or first full time employment.2. Elderly on limited income towards cost of heating etc.3. Those needing financial help resulting from sudden illness or bereavement etc.4. Other Litton Cheney charities eg. School, Church and Community Associations.

We organise a range of events to raise money to benefit all the children at the school. Events we have planned are Easter Bingo, Discos, Summer and Christmas Fayres.

Provides funds for services for the villagers of Halstock, Dorset.

Blandford & District Lions raise funds through various events which are then re-distributed to worthy local and good causes within DT11 and to some national and international causes via the Lions hierarchy.

Dorset Sinfonia is an amateur classical orchestra drawing on the talents of musicians from throughout Dorset. Our mission is to provide a platform for amateur musicians of all ages to come together and enjoy performing music to the highest level of skill we can attain.

Provide open space venue for village use and activities to include PLAYGROUP + LUNCH CLUB for over 60's +LIVE PERFORMANCE + CINEMA CLUB + GARDEN CLUB + YOGA and KEEP FIT classesAlso rented out for private parties weddings etc

This charity offers help in cases of need to local residents. In some circumstances assistance may be offered outside the local area. The charity is also able to offer modest grants to help the local community.

Parent teacher association raising funds to support Wool Primary School with the childrens education.

We are a club for disabled people in the BH20 & BH16 postal areas. We have regular monthly meetings and use our adapted minibus to take all members out at least once per month. We also use our transport for hospital appointments and visits and provide our transport with volunteer driver for use by many other clubs and charities in the area.

Management of Longburton Village Hall on behalf of the "Area of Benefit". Providing a cross section of activities for all ages as well as maintaining the building and grounds.

To relieve the charitable needs of families whose children are affected by ill health by providing welfare packages with essential products.

Harlequin Care offers complementary therapies , counselling and befriending to Dorset's unpaid Carers

Programme of three natural therapies - nutrition, massage and imagery for an average of three sessions for optimum/successful results. Children aged 2-22 suffering any condition or symptoms. Families attend from the south west. Also provides resources, talks and training.

Bridport Lions Club is part of the International Lions ,the largest service organisation in the world.Bridport Lions raise money to help both local organisations such as schools,Youth organisations,those in need,and national charities and disaster appeals.

The core function of the CCIO is to fundraise and allocate grants for the public benefit of groups and projects within the parish to which end at present there is a Grants Distribution Committee chaired by one of the Trustees and drawing its membership from the wider community.
