Tyne Rivers Trust has a unique role as guardian of the River Tyne Catchment, overseeing the continuing conservation and regeneration of the river from the impacts of its industrial past.The Trust provides education programmes and promotes understanding of the river to all ages, alongside the science-based, practical projects we develop and implement to improve the river system.

WE OFFER HOUSING & SUPPORT TO HOMELESS YOUNG MEN IN STOCKTON-ON-TEES WITH VARIOUS PROBLEMS WHICH CAN INCLUDE DRUG AND ALCOHOL MISUSE. WE TRY TO HELP OUR RESIDENTS TO BECOME DRUG FREE AND LIVE INDEPENDENTLY THROUGH HELP AND SUPPORT.WE SEPARATELY OPERATE A RESIDENTIAL FAMILY ASSESSMENT CENTRE AT OUR FARM IN BISHOP AUCKLAND.

Advance the education and training of students and members of Teikyo University, Tokyo, Japan in the United Kingdom at Durham University

Educational Support Activities, Fundraising, activitites of member organisations, management of entertainment venue, retail of food, beverages, stationery, sundry items.

Work based learning provider, funded through Skills Funding Agency and Education Funding Agency for the delivery of engineering, business admin & customer service apprenticeship for individuals 16+. Work with employers to deliver training prgrammes to support their workforce development. Work with schools to deliver GCSE's Btec diplomas & certificates in engineering to support the 14-19 agenda.

The Community's principal objectives are the furtherance of Roman Catholic and Christian Primary, Secondary & Adult education in the UK and elsewhere. The alleviation of poverty and human suffering and such other activities as Sister Superior shall direct.

Journey supports adults with learning disability to develop life and work skills, and to maintain good health and well-being. Our services are delivered on our sites, through our community enterprises and in the wider community. The Charity's Staff work with Clients using person-centred and positive behavioural support (PBS) methods, enabling each Client to fulfil their potential.

The Charity is a community based Scout Group. The Group is made up of 3 sections catering for boys and girls from the ages of 6 to 14 1/2. Each section has a varied programme of events throughout including camps, oudoor activites such as archery, wall climbing and orienteering. As well as outdoor pursuits the children take part in craft activities and are involved with the local community.

Provision of sports facilities for community use including those for archery, athletics, bowls, cricket, football, hockey, squash and tennis consistent with the objectives of the Charity. The Charity also owns a Community Interest Company providing social facilities, acting as the umbrella body for non-sporting activities and also to generate revenues for the Charity.

Northeast Disabilities Resource Centre

Provision of services and activities to promote the wellbeing of all older people mainly in and around County Durham and help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

The charity was formed to acquire from the Church Commissioners a collection of paintings by the Spanish artist Zurbaran, and in conjunction with her sister charity, The Auckland Castle Trust (Charity Reg:1146219), to enable these paintings to be seen by the general public.It also owns other paintings, furniture and artefacts that form part of the permanent exhibition at Auckland Castle

Our aim is to support and lead regeneration and community development for the village of Sacriston andits residents. We run a community centre, called The Fulforth Centre.

The provision of personal care and domestic support service to individuals in their own homes. Hetton Home Care Services provide these services in Easington Lane, Hetton-le-Hole, Houghton-le-Spring, Fence Houses, Shiney Row, Penshaw, Washington and surrounding areas.
