The object of the association (the objects) is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:1) Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school2) Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

The Community Association provides social and leisure facilities for local inhabitants. It runs a Parent & toddler group on up to four mornings per week and a Junior youth Club every Wednesday. A monthly Family Night and disco provides an opportunity for local residents to get together socially. The Community Centre is also available for private hire to individuals and local organisations.

Age Concern Durham County incorporated & commenced trading as a charitable company limited by guarantee (Age Concern Durham County trading as Age UK County Durham charity number 1122008) on 1st April 2008. Charity number 501537 is dormant & remains on the register with the permission of the Charity Commission so that legacies can be received & transferred to charity number 1122008.

Aycliffe and Brancepeth Band is a brass band for players of all ages and abilities who want to play in a friendly atmosphere. We are very much a community band and enjoy entertaining audiences with our mix of traditional and popular music.

Minor local authority acting as Sole Trustees for the improvement and upgrading of the former recreation ground into a parkland area for the benefit of the local residents

To promote the education of children, young persons and the general public and to improve the quality of life of all such persons by providing sporting and recreational facilities for the communityof Wear Valley and other surrounding districts.

The objects of the Trust are to foster and encourage projects of educational and charitable research and investigation over a wide range of subjects, ensuring that the results shall be made available.The beneficial area is restricted to Co. Durham. The Trust has supported research projects in the United Kingdom and abroad.

OPEN SPACE AND PLAY PARK

The main purpose of the trust is the preservation and care of exhibits donated to the museum since 1975. The museum itself is now supervised and controlled by Darlington Borough Council.

The centre provides advice and religious & recreational activities to Merchant Seamen.
