We rescue & rehome dogs in need from Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. We care and look after them until a permanent home is found no matter how long it takes.

Welton and Brough Sports Club is available to the whole community to enjoy sports, general healthy wellbeing and friendship throughout the year. We encourage all races, sexes, ages,abilities and disablilities without exception to join us.We organise weekly junior coaching and games along with senior activities and encourage all to join our social gatherings.

To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Hull and East Yorkshire and the surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation of individuals who have need for such facilities by reason of their youth, age,infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large

To conserve, protect, rehabilitate and improve the chalk rivers and streams of East & North Yorkshire. To advance the education of the public in the understanding of rivers, river corridors and catchments including their fauna and flora.

The Charity's activities are the pursuit of the objects contained in its Articles of Association, which are:1 To preserve for the public benefit Beverley Minster & St Mary's Church2 The advancement of education of the public3 The promotion of arts for the public benefit in Beverley and the surrounding area

To provide for the inhabitants of Swanland and the neighbourhood, in the interests of social welfare, facilities for the recreation and leisure-time occupation, for the purpose of relaxation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants

Religious activities

Provide worship services, and other mid-week activities to support, encourage and teach those who are already Christian believers, and to support, help, inform and reach out to those who are not Christian believers.

The Green Team recruits volunteers and trains them in horticulture and gardening, and deploys them to provide a low-cost gardening service to older and disabled people within a ten mile radius of Goole, East Riding. Volunteers also cultivate fruit, vegetables and flowers on a rented allotment in Goole.

St John the Evangelist (St John's) is the Parish Church of Goole, conducting Anglican services of worship and life events (baptisms, weddings and funerals) within the parish, as well as opportunities for further Christian engagement. St John's conducts community groups for all ages, such as toddler groups and coffee mornings, to which all are welcome regardless of their faith.

The trust provides a community building for arts, leisure, recreational and educational use. We offer a film night and now have excellent bar facilities. We offer meeting rooms, a stage, a large dance floor. The hall is available for wedding receptions, parties, conferences as well as educational use, to the whole community.

As a parish church, we provide regular public worship and a place for private prayer. We teach the Christian faith in a variety of settings, and are active in our local schools. We seek to serve the needs of our community and support various charities, both financially, and through use of our building. We provide pastoral care for people in need in our parish, including during major life events.

The relief of those in need and for the promotion of eductaion.

Advancement of the education of the public in the arts, and in particular, in the arts of music, speech, drama, dance and the visual arts; and to promote such other charitable purposes as the trustees shall in their absolute discretion determine.

We provide pastoral support to families of children with Down syndrome. We run a weekly group session which provides education, fun and play for babies and children with Down syndrome. School-age children attend fortnightly with their teaching assistants. We provide training for parents, teachers and other professionals. We provide consultancy work within schools to ensure effective inclusion.

Working with young students, who are struggling to engage with mainstream education, on alternative learning experiences including outdoor activities, small animal care, horticultural and workshop projects, to gain life skills, practical learning and support for them to return to full time education.

The improvement of mental health through engagement in artistic work with fully qualified and HCPC registered art therapists.Art Therapy Yorkshire bids for funds that can then be used to help and support vulnerable clients at no charge to them.The charity helps people to overcome many kinds of problems enabling them to live more satisfying lives, and to take more part in their local communities.

Love Driffield exists to relieve poverty in the town of Driffield and the surrounding area of the East Riding of Yorkshire. This is primarily through running the Driffield and Wolds Foodbank.

We provide musical tuition to people young and not so young free of charge both in the bandroom and in some local junior schools. We currently have around 100 instrumentalists associated with the band from raw beginners to accomplished senior band musicians. Volunteer tutors are not paid for this work. Our five musical ensembles provide a variety of musical performances throughout the year.

Collection and redistribution of reusable household items to those in need within the communities we work. We work in partnership with the local authority homeless department to provide essential items that are needed once they've been provided with a property. We also work with other social and community groups including churches to meet the needs of those disadvantaged in our community.
