A YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION RAISING AWARENESS OF THE COUNTRYSIDE

The improvement of mental health through engagement in artistic work with fully qualified and HCPC registered art therapists.Art Therapy Yorkshire bids for funds that can then be used to help and support vulnerable clients at no charge to them.The charity helps people to overcome many kinds of problems enabling them to live more satisfying lives, and to take more part in their local communities.

Raising funds through music festivals and other arts activities to provide grants for local charities in the East Yorkshire area that benefit underprivileged children

Helping others was created in May 2017 by a Facebook group offering support for people struggling with mental health as a small town there is not enough support . Helping others as grown rapidly and now help homeless, dvap, elderly, people struggling with poverty. Helping others volunteers are all there for there own reasons and can share their stories with people who are finding life difficult .

To use the Property, the trust funds and the income for the purposes of providing and maintaining the village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Swanland without distinction, including use for meetings, lectures and classes or other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare and for improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants

We offer a confidential helpline and face to face counselling service for women and girls aged 14+ who have experienced rape or sexual abuse at any point in their life, furthermore we offer support and/or information to you, your friends and family.

We are a charity supporting people living on the Yorkshire Coast who are visually and/or hearing impaired.We have events where members can meet fellow members, make new friends and enjoy a range of activities.We also educate the public about visual and hearing impairment.Please visit our website and social media to find out more about who we are and what we do.

Classical music Orchestra, mainly amateur, providing concerts for the public and experience for enthusiastic players of any age. Engaging with local schools and children's musical organisations so as to bring music both to a wider audience and to children in particular.

Child Care

Emotional support by phone, e-mail , plus occasional face to face meetings (paused) in Spring bank Kingston upon Hull.essentially to serve Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.The service can spill out with telephony and technology across the UK.

The charity runs the village hall in Welton, making it available to a range of users with an emphasis on benefiting the local community in Welton and Melton.

To rescue and rehome stray, abused and unwanted English Springer Spaniels and to care for them until appropriate new homes are found.

Activities such as fun days music concerts etc

We operate a charity shop at 12-18 Dunstall Street, Scunthorpe, where we sell donated items to the general public. As well as operating as a retail shop, the premises are used to support service users, who use the shop as a drop in centre, we provide drinks, advice and support. We make donations to help people and organisations who suffer with or work in mental health.

Before and after school Kids Club and holiday club

The society exists to present all types of entertainment which are suitable for audiences. Each year we present shows (5) and plays (3) together with shows we bring in to help with our finances. The theatre is used also by learning difficulty groups , local dance schools and our own youth group.( 35 children)

We offer weekly Bible study, services, English courses for ESL learners, scholarships for theology studies, and supports missions in Africa.

The object of the Society shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of choral and instrumental music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts; and for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such purposes as shall be exclusively charitable as the Committee may from time to time decide

The Project provides activities and events for children and young people in the local area, which is one of the most deprived in the country. Our mission statement is to improve the quality of life for young people by providing opportunity for social, physical and mental activity , and so empowering them to mature as responsible and caring members of the community.

The Hessle Scout Group comprises of two Beaver Colonies, two Cub Packs, two Scout Troops and one Explorers Section. The Group is responsible for the running costs of the Scout Den. The Den is used by all the individual sections , and is also available for hire by members of the public.
