SUPPORT TO NAVY, ARMY AND AIR FORCE CADETS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF DETACHMENTS BASED IN YORKSHIRE AND THE HUMBER REGION

To hold the Community Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Market Weighton including the use for meetings, lectures and classes, education and for other forms of recreation & other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants

Management of village hall and playing fields

To provide, maintain and improve the playing field situated in North Newbald, on behalf of all of the occupants of the Parish of Newbald.

Working with children and young people, primarily in schools, to encourage a greaterunderstanding of Christianity and its outworking in current society. Work includes providing assemblies and RE lessons; support for individuals and small groups in subjects such as anger management, self esteem; annual provision of transition support to year 6 pupils.

THE UPKEEP OF THE VILLAGE HALL IN HOLLYM TO ENSURE ALL RESIDENTS CAN USE IT.

York Opera stages two major productions each year and a number of small concerts and workshops mainly in York but also covering North and East Yorkshire in schools,churches, village halls etc.

The trust which is a Christian organisation runs a community charity shop on Swinemoor estate in Beverley. Items are sold at a very affordable price. At the front of the shop is an area where free refreshments are served and people can chat. The objectives of the charity are to advance the Christian faith as the trustees of the charity may from time to time see fit.

The Wharfedale foundation is a grant awarding trust which was established in March 2009.

Provision of Pre-School education for 2-4 year olds.

The provision of grants for general charitable objects in the East Riding of Yorkshire and the city of Kingston upon Hull, with particular emphasis towards funding for specific projects, events or equipment rather than contributing to general funding or the general overheads of applicant charities and organisations.

Providing & maintaining a village hall for the use of the villagers of Sutton-On-Derwent.

Providing a range of sporting activities for people in Eastrington and surrounding areas including football, cricket and rounders.

Scout group for children aged 6and a half to 16 and a half. Boys and girls. Meeting every week, camping, adventure holidays, climbing orienteering, cooking swimming,first aid, helping the community.

Fund raising to provide the extras for the children at the school in terms of education and social time. Also to run many events including Summer Fairs, Christmas Fairs for the children and parents to enjoy.

The objects of HICP are:To advance the education of the public in the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the art of film, in particular but not exclusively by:(a) the screening of films of artistic merit and educative value in and around the city of Kingston Upon Hull; and(b) establishing, maintaining and providing educational programmes, exhibition space and production facilities.

We provide long term rental homes and ongoing support to victims of human trafficking and/or modern slavery. The homes currently used by the charity are based in Yorkshire, UK.

To relieve poverty and assist homeless persons and rough sleepers living in the Humber region and the City of Kingston upon Hull who are in need, in particular but not exclusively by helping assist in the provision of temporary and permanent accommodation, information, advice, employment, education and assistance. Also signposting on issues relating to healthcare, addiction and housing.

We provide open space for sport. We have highly active amature Rugby League & Football clubs with teams 6yrs to open age. The fields are open for general recreation, (Phase 1 of a Play park expected in 2014). The Village hall provides venue for WI, local wives group, Karate and several differnt dance meetings as well as a locally renouned dance school. rooms are for hire for parties and meetings.

CHARITY RUN PRE-SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN FROM THE AGE OF TWO UP TO SCHOOL AGE.

To make known the Christian gospel by evangelistic outreach and social action and to donate money both to relieve poverty and encourage outreach.

St Hugh's encourages arts research and development by enabling applicants from Lincolnshire, East Yorkshire and the City of Hull to make their own impact regionally or nationally through new work in any of the art forms. With limited resources, it has a distinguished record of supporting innovative development projects that have made an impact in and far beyond the region of benefit.

Provides sport and leisure for residents of Stamford Bridge and District :-The Association consists of Cricket, Football, Bowls, Tennis, and Netball Clubs, for Seniors and Juniors, plus a Social Club.
