TO PROVIDE A FACILITY THAT IS AVAILABLE FOR USE BY ALL THE LOCAL RESIDENTS OF THE VILLAGE.

To promote and encourage:Education through research into the evolution of British rural landscape from the Palaeolithic to the present day; The provision of education and training in landscape research methodology; the dissemination of the useful results of landscape research.

The charity's aims are to preserve and protect the health of newborn babies by providing or assisting in the provision of neonatal equipment and transport equipment.

Burlington Pre-school enhances the development and education of children primarily under statutory school age in a parent involving, community based group. We do this by providing a safe, stimulating and caring environment for all children and provide a curriculum which leads to approved learning outcomes. Pre-school operates in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Sports Facility Management

We provide sporting & recreational activities to children & adults including table tennis, martial arts, . room hire for public and private meetings such as the Over 50's Computer Club, Irish Dancing, Over 55 luncheon club, toddles group councillors surgery and residents group. A local history group meet at the Club. A Church Group uses the building on Sunday mornings.

Providing life changing learning experiences in the Russian language for children 5 - 15 years old from Eastern European families living in Hull and surround areas. Providing play sessions, art, chess and math lessons for children from multilingual families.Organising parties and celebrations for children involving their families. Organising well being events for children.

Provision of a village hall to all, without distinction of political, religious or other opinion, in the parish of Newbald for the use of meetings, lectures, and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Primarily help find and rescue to a place of safety members of the public that go missing and are considered life in danger. Provide a specialist team for the local community by responding to requests from the Police, the Local Authority and other emergency services; Ensure that all that engage with us, receive courteous, friendly and a high-quality professional service.

Management of village hall and playing fields

York Opera stages two major productions each year and a number of small concerts and workshops mainly in York but also covering North and East Yorkshire in schools,churches, village halls etc.

Create extends participation in and access to the arts and provides support to the creative sector. Other activities include: event management, festivals development work, research, evaluation and consultancy, strategic networks and partnership work, and supporting creative practitioners.

Working with children and young people, primarily in schools, to encourage a greaterunderstanding of Christianity and its outworking in current society. Work includes providing assemblies and RE lessons; support for individuals and small groups in subjects such as anger management, self esteem; annual provision of transition support to year 6 pupils.

Fund raising through events eg dinner dances, speakers, golf and other social occasions and by donations.

SEARCH exists to assist churches in the key mission aim of engaging with God's world in compassion, care and service, in the context of their local communities. By direct advice and support, by the gathering and sharing of information and experience, by networking and the publication of materials, we enable churches to do more to meet local need.

To promote either through its own act or by supporting other registered charities and for the benefit of the people of the United Kingdom the conservation of the heritage especially the biodiversity of Yorkshire and surrounding areas and in particular to manage Broomhill Flash, and to provide access, education, demonstration and research opportunities for learning about biodiversity.

St Hugh's encourages arts research and development by enabling applicants from Lincolnshire, East Yorkshire and the City of Hull to make their own impact regionally or nationally through new work in any of the art forms. With limited resources, it has a distinguished record of supporting innovative development projects that have made an impact in and far beyond the region of benefit.
