PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR VILLAGE RESIDENTS AND NON RESIDENTS FOR SOCIAL MEETINGS, PARTIES AND FUND RAISING.

The charity aims to give relief to parent(s) and guardian(s) of children resident within the area of the Diocese of York who are in need, hardship or distress and their children. We make grants to provide and pay for goods, items, services and facilities. We also give grants to other bodies who provide goods, services or facilities to those in need.

The charity makes grants to other charitable organisations to be applied for such charitable purposes for the welfare of animals in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire as the trustees should in their absolute discretion think fit.

To provide a community hall.The centre is undergoing restoration and when re-opened later in 2014 we will be organising functions and events to bring people into the town and the centre, such as Cinema, Theatre, Folk Clubs, live music events, artistic exhibitions and community information services, training and educational events.

To help serving and retired members of Humberside Police who are in financial difficulty by providing a loan/grant. Grants can also be provied on an altruistic basis is it would help the aforementioned to deal with a particularly difficult time in their lives. The Fund is largely made up of subscriptions from members. Donations by private and public bodies are also very welcome.

Our organisation was founded to manage the Playing Field site in Walkington which must be used for the maintenance and improvement of the physical well-being of the persons resident in the Parish of Walkington. The Walkington PFA pursue these aims by the provision of facilities for physical training and recreation, as stated in the constitution.

To provide a Scout, Cub and Beavers Group activities for the young childern in our area.

Maintain and run village hall for local residents.

Men in Sheds provides a place where men and women can pursue practical and leisure interested in a safe place where members can share skills and knowledge and build friendships.The shed also provides a range of activities and interests such as carpentry, horticulture, painting or other activities that are of interest to members or just a place to enjoy the company of others.

The Charity provides support to individuals in need and/or charities, or other oganisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.Provides a forum, promoting best practice and offering a collective voice for independent, grassroots food aid providers.Works with and promoting the voices of people in food insecurity Provides opportunities for learning about the causes of food poverty

Provides a venue for clubs and organisations in Newport and its surrounds.

Welfare of serving and ex-serving Air Force people and their dependants

Holme On Spalding Moor Relief in Need and Education Charity gives financial assistance for those in need and for educational purposes to residents of Holme On Spalding Moor only.

The Hessle Scout Group comprises of two Beaver Colonies, two Cub Packs, two Scout Troops and one Explorers Section. The Group is responsible for the running costs of the Scout Den. The Den is used by all the individual sections , and is also available for hire by members of the public.

Provision of Youth Clubs in villages around Beverley: currently Leconfield and Tickton. Thde Clubsa are for ages 11-18 and up to 25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities

Anlaby Village Hall is for the use of inhabitants of the Parish of Anlaby in the East Riding of Yorkshire, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupations, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Keyingham Parish Institute provides the building known as Keyingham Village Hall for use by any qualifying individual or group in the area of benefit. The trusttes are charged to provide and maintain the building for the use of those in the area of benefit. Income is derived from rent charges levied for the use of the building.

Promotion of literature, the arts and education generally by means of weekly lectures during the winter months of the year.

Managing the School Endowment

We are currently active in religious and community education, local outreach and community activities such as street ministry, prison ministry including visitations, fellowship groups (men, women & youth ministries). We also organise retreats and holiday clubs for all ages, social events such as Summer Ball's, Christmas meal?s, picnics and barbeques etc that we advertise to the whole community.

TEACHING CLASSES IN SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCING IN YORK, NORTH YORKSHIRE & EAST YORKSHIRE

(a) To advance horticulture for the public benefit in particular but not limited to the maintenance and development of the nursery; (b) To advance the education of the public in particular in horticulture, railway nurseries and the railway nursery site at Poppleton including the maintenance and development of the historical features of the nursery, including the narrow-gauge railway.

a) To promote the restoration and preservation of the canal for the benefit of the local community and the general public at large, and to encourage its use for navigation and the general public in their leisure time.b) To stimulate public interest, education and appreciation of the beauty, history, flora and fauna and structures of the Pocklington Canal and its environs
