Our remit is to support and provide medical equipment to the hospital and GP surgery when necessary and includes assisting people in our local community with a condition that requires additional aids at home but lack the income to purchase the equipment required. Applications for help must be made in writing to the Secretary and each application will be given due consideration by the committee.

Providing financial assistance for housing needs, in the form of non-repayable grants or loans at low or no interest; assistance with residential accommodation and the repair and improvement of such accommodation; and helping those who are aged or disabled in the provision of proper care.

We provide and maintain the facilities and space of the village hall for use by all ages especially supporting the children and the elderly within the village and surrounding areas.

To maintain Foston-On-The-Wolds village hall for the benefit of the community comprising the villages of Brigham, Foston, Gembling and Kelk in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

We present public concerts of choral music to enrich the programme of musical events in the area, including concerts in aid of other charities.

A YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION RAISING AWARENESS OF THE COUNTRYSIDE

The PTA Committee is composed of parents and teachers from the school. We work to raise money, which is then spent on equipment and activities which enhance the educational experience of the children at the school.

The purpose of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

To advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the public in accordance with the statement of belief appearing in the schedule of the Articles of Association. Coffee mornings are conducted to create an environment where people feel confident to discuss, share experiences and problems to find healing, forgiveness and moving on as Jesus Christ did to those who cruxified him.

Educating the public in the history and heritage of the inland waterways of Yorkshire by:- a) preserving vessels and artifacts which illustrate and explain the history and heritage of the waterways; b) providing the public with access to the waterways for the purpose of education; and c) undertaking research into the waterways and publishing the results for the public benefit.

Entertain patients, staff and visitors of hospitals and health and wellbeing institutions within Northern Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire

PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IN THE PARISH OF HOLME ON SPALDING MOOR AND IN THE PARISH OF MARKET WEIGHTON EAST YORKSHIRE.

We are a parents and friends association who organise and run events for our school community with the purpose of raising funds to enhance the school environment for the children.

Rescue and rehabilitation of sick, injured or orphaned hedgehogs.

The hall is used for Indoor Bowls, Childrens Club, Whist Drives, private parties, dinners, discussion groups, Village Enhancement fundraising, Church eg Harvest Festival supper, also theatre group proffessional use it once a year. It is also hired out by various sporting clubs particularly in the summer eg cyclists.It has all facilities for the diabled.

Charity concentrates on nature conservation & renewal with particular emphasis on natural deciduous woodlands, and the rural craftspeople who work in the sector. Also contributes to research, as moth & insect surveys. Supports young farmers entering the sector with a farming with nature agenda on specific projects. Emphasis on North and East Yorkshire

Educational Bursaries for students aged between 16 to 25 years inclusive.Must be resident in the former Borough of Goole or the Parish of Hook for at least two years OR to have attended a school within the said areas for at least two years.From 2012 will offer support to 'modern apprentices' within the same location. To provide houses for occupation on weekly tenancies by persons aged 50 years or over, who are in conditions of need, hardship and distress.

Howden & District U3A is a learning co-operative of older people enabling members to share educational, creative and leisure activities, mainly in small groups that meet regularly, often in each others' homes. Members, through sharing their knowledge, skills and experience, learn from each other. A monthly meeting provides the opportunity to hear a variety of expert speakers on topics of interest

The provision & maintenance of a village hall which can be used for meetings, education, recreation & leisure activities with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of the village of Flamborough and surrounding area

To provde sport and recreation, including a childrens play area, for the residents of North Cave and the surrounding villages.
