Headingley Orphanage Foundation is empowered `to make grants to organizations with charitable objects serving the benefit of needy children and young persons up to the age of 21 years, and more particularly those within the geographical area known as Yorkshire, as the Trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit.`

To provide advice, support to deafblind individuals residing in Yorkshire. This includes children and adults and their families.The charity aims to promote awareness and learning in the area of deafblindness to those families living in Yorkshire.

Provide accommodation for North Ferriby Guides and Brownies

We carry out a range of fundraising activities including sponsored walks, school discos/parties, stalls and raffles to raise funds within the school environment.

Supply fortnightly recordings of local news and local features to the blind & partially sighted of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

To help young people age 18-25 living in Stamford Bridge and Gate Helmsley with education and training by means of grants to individuals.

The object of the association (the objects) is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:2.1 Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school2.2 Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Assistance with need or hardship of any kind within the area specified by the Constitution.

Mantaining the Playing Fields for the village children

The Phoenix Drama Group Mon, 23 members & 14 volunteers, Senior Gateway Club Tues Eve with 50 members and 7 volunteers, activities include sponsored walks, social evening BBQ ICT Suites at Driff & Brid. Drop-in facility, referral, signposting, makaton courses. New training facilites for the learning disabled, art & craft, makaton classes, music & movement class, sports day, fundraising committee.

To provide financial help for old age pensioners and school leavers in the parish of Laxton with Saltmarshe.

Help to provide educational materials for the school. Fund transport for school trips. Help to provide out door play equipment.

Fundraising on behalf of Hornsea Community Primary School

To perpetuate the memory of the armed forces who served in World War II and who died in that cause, by the restoration and preservation and maintenance of the Withernsea town war memorial clock situated in St. Nicholas church tower, Withernsea.

To aid and support inhabitants fo the village (without distinction of sex, age, political or religious opinions), via the local organisations within the village.

OUR ACTIVITIES COMPRISE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH IN GEOLOGY IN EAST YORKSHIRE AND SURROUNDING AREAS, VIA LECTURES, FIELD TRIPS, OPEN DAYS, PUBLICATIONS AND WEBSITE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH LOCAL COUNCILS, MUSEUMS, EDUCATIONAL AND CONSERVATIONAL INSTITUTIONS. ALL AVAILABLE AND PROMOTED TO PUBLIC.

We raise funds for our school by organising events and acitivites for both children and parents. Our main fund raisers are our school's sponsored walk held in May, our summer fair which is held in July and Christmas Fair held in November. We also run a disco for the children and have quizzes and other events which vary throughout the year.

Facility for the use of Bainton Villagers. And local Villages.Used as a meeting place for various local village organisations.eg; Darts,bowls.snooker, keep fit group;Yoga, church meetings, craft fairs ,monthly eating room(Luncheon) for the elderly.(Winter Months)

To support 'In Need' cases in the Pocklington and immediate area.
