Cancer United is a cancer support charity for all those whose lives have been affected by a cancer diagnosisIt aims to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of cancer patients from diagnosis onwards and those close to them through its active recovery clubs which provide a whole variety of social engagements, its choir and via CU Fitter a cancer specific exercise programme

St Mary the Virgin Salehurst is Church of England Church in the Diocese of Chichester providing worship facilities and support to the Robertsbridge and Salehurst communities.

The organisation holds regular public worship; carries out pastoral work, inc. visiting the sick & bereaved; teaches Christianity through sermons, courses & small groups; takes religious assemblies in schools; provides a youth club & parent & toddler group with a Christian ethos & promotes Christianity through holding events & meetings. Lewes House of Friendship exists to promote the wellbeing of older people, in any manner which now is or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable, in and around Lewes. The Deans Senior Tea Club main aim is to help combat isolation the elderly community, we hold three Tea Clubs each week in Saltdean, Peacehaven and Telscombe Cliffs.The clubs are free to all, we hold fun activities and have entertainment to include singers ,dancers. The members come together to drink tea eat cake and meet new friends.

Church of England

Sackville College is a beautiful Jacobean almshouse which provides accommodation for local elderly people of limited means. The flats are comfortable, warm, safe and secure. There is a strong community spirit. The college is not supported by the Government and relies on fundraising events, visitors, donations and a very low weekly charge for its income.

We provide help to blind and partially sighted people in East Sussex

The Pre-school provides a happy and secure environment for children, through a wide range of play activities, organised by a well-qualified team of staff and supported by the fundraising and management team of the committee. The variety of activities on offer encourages children to develop physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills through play, which help prepare them for school life.

We provide 1-2-1 counselling and therapeutic groups to women.

Befriended provides a range of services aimed at combating loneliness and isolation amongst older people living in Mid Sussex. These include face to face befriending, telephone befriending, befriended buddies, bereavement support, chaplaincy, exercise classes, social activities and events.

To prevent the sexual exploitation of women and young people through: provision of support through our outreach service, across coastal West Sussex, to women in the sex industry; education, training and awareness raising workshops to community/voluntary sector organisations; partnership working to improve access to support; developing services to include prevention of Child Sexual Exploitation.
