Main activities are to run the village hall together with the recreation ground, sports pavilion and annexe, children's play area and car park.

BPEC is an Education Centre focusing on peace and environmental issues. We work with community groups, schools, local businesses & other organisations. We run courses for teachers on integrating global citizenship into the curriculum. Our comprehensive library has over 2,000 books and teaching packs. Eastbourne Networx welcomes and supports refugees and immigrants in Eastbourne and the nearby locality, with no or little recourse to public funds. We are a voice for the individuals and families, supporting them at different agencies as required. Networx also supports families rehoused in the town on the Government Resettlement Programme.

The promotion of educational activities among older people and the encouragement of social gatherings. Achieved by the creation of separate self help groups under the umbrella of our organisation. Typical groups include; singing, gardening, science, arts, conversation, languages, discussion, photography, walking, etc. We currently have over 60 such groups.

The maintenance, improvement and development of artistic taste and the knowledge, understanding, improvement and appreciation of music, dancing, elocution, literature and acting, particularly by the holding of music and arts festivals in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

The objects of the charity are encourage, advance, develop and maintain public education in, appreciation of and involvement in operatic arts and the performing arts by promoting a series of public performances, exhibitions and other cultural events.

Just Friends helps to combat the effects of loneliness in those who live alone, including carers. Just Friends organises social meetings, walking groups and a lunch each month in each branch. In addition members can enjoy events including Tea Parties with Entertainment, Steam Train outings, Wine Tasting excursions, Theatre Visits, Specific Lunches including Halloween, Christmas etc and more.

Engage, a rural charity in Wealden, provides socialisation opportunities for older vulnerable people at the TN22 club and dementia activities and carers' respite at the TN22 Plus club. Engage promotes social inclusion, health and wellbeing through the provision of lunch clubs, therapeutic activities and outings. Staff and volunteers are committed to combating loneliness and social isolation.

The objects of the CIO is the promotion of religion in accordance with the principals of the General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches. We provide a place of worship to serve the local community of Hastings and Rother districts of East Sussex through the use of its building and its members time for the promotion of educational, spiritual and charitable activities.

To run a lunch and social club for elderly residents of Brighton & Hove so as to provide them with recreational, ?keep-fit? and cultural activities, together with a kosher meals service.
