Tunbridge Wells Rotary Club Trust is a charity whose objects are to assist sporting, welfare, educational and religious projects by financial support at the discretion of the trustees. The charity raises funds for these projects by receiving donations from the members of the Tunbridge Wells Rotary Club and by organising fund raising events.

The society's objectives are to stimulate public interest in the beauty, history and character of the town of Lewes and its surrounding area; to organise concerted action for protecting and enhancing the townscape of Lewes and the architectural, visual and historic interest of Lewes and the surrounding area and for preserving free access to the latter; and to co-operate with kindred societies. To support children orphaned by man made or natural disasters by providing food, clothing, clean water and/or therapeutic workshops through Art, and when and where possible provide sustainable life skills through the provision of educational workshops. Build sustainable orphanages worldwide.

Disseminating information on health awareness campaigns, facilitating a weekly Fruit and Veg stall, training, volunteer opoortunities. We offer activities as crazy golf, group lunches, ten pin bowling, cooking sessions, group walks in local Park and the nearby village and an over 50's craft club to help improve health.

Sussex Search and Rescue is the primary volunteer resource used by Sussex Police in the search and rescue of vulnerable missing people. We are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and are fully approved by Sussex Police policy. SusSAR is staffed purely by volunteers, who as well as covering the whole of Sussex, can also be called out to assist other Search and Rescue groups throughout the UK.

TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES TO DISABLED PERSONS IN SEVENOAKS AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS BY ENCOURAGING AND FACILITATING THEM TO ACCESS POWERCHAIR FOOTBALL. TO ASSIST WITH THE PROVISION OF TRAINING, FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT. TO PROVIDE RESPITE TO THE FAMILIES OF THOSE WITH A PHYSICAL DISABILITY

OCLG, based in Ore, Hastings aims to create greater literacy and numeracy skills, learning and employment opportunities for local residents by operating a community library which will benefit the individuals and the local economy by widening access to quality, focussed resources, including the borrowing of books and access to digital resources, e.g. computers, the Internet, printers and scanners.

To support and further the musical activities of Brighton & Hove City Brass, a band giving concerts & entering brass band contests.

Lewes Festival of Song is an annual three day celebration of classical song featuring performers with an international reputation, as well as younger generation musicians and those on the brink of their careers. Concerts are also sometimes arranged for the spring and / or autumn. The Festival takes place in St. Anne's Church, Lewes, for which we are fund-raising to provide a new piano.

TO PROVIDE THE TRANSPORT NEEDS OF THOSE LIVING IN THE PARISHES OF WOTTON, ABINGER AND SHERE BY MEANS OF A COMMUNITY MINIBUS, NOT OTHERWISE MET BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SHOPPING RECREATION ETC. THIS SERVICE IS OF PARTICULAR HELP FOR PEOPLE WHO BECAUSE OF AGE, DISABILITY, SICKNESS OR POVERTY NEED SUCH ASSISTANCE, AND FOR WHICH THERE IS A LACK OF ADEQUATE AND SAFE PUBLIC SERVICES.

The Trustees' responsibilities are to raise funds to maintain and run the village hall for the benefit of the local community.

The main objective is to provide Sports facilities to the local Village sports clubs, they Being, Football, Rugby, Cricket and Stoolball.The purpose is to provide the clubs with adequate facilities for changing, socialising and promoting their own clubs, including that of youth teams and other promotions.In short, The Charitable Trust, looks after and maintains the Newick Sports Pavilion
