Little Gate is a charity providing a skills and training program for learning disabled & Autistic adults and young people who want to go into paid work through supported employment. We also provide respite through our holiday club for children with learning disabilities and difficulties.

Citizens Advice 1066 provides information, advice and guidance on the full range of advice issues, including debt, employment rights, benefits, housing and consumer issues. The service is free, confidential, impartial and independent. As well as giving advice we campaign to get policies changed. This is based on the experience and needs of our clients.

AudioActive advances the professional, educational and personal and social development of children and young people of all backgrounds living in the South East of England in particular by providing opportunities for participation in music and creative arts, and by creating high quality music-making opportunities.

Brighton Women's Centre provides a range of services to the women of Sussex. Its aims are to protect and preserve physical and mental health, to promote education and to relieve poverty.

The Objects of the Friends shall be to provide relief and assistance for patients and staff at the Eastbourne Hospitals of the East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust and the community NHS services provided centrally by other NHS and primary care trusts to the extent that the same was provided formerly by Eastbourne and County Healthcare NHS Trust.

At Rockinghorse, we aim to make life better for sick and disabled babies, children and teenagers across Sussex. We do this by providing cutting edge equipment that the NHS cannot cover and by making medical and respite facilities for children and young people as comfortable, friendly and accessible as possible.

As Sussex Crickets charitable arm, our aim is to actively change lives through cricket across the communities of Sussex. We use the game and the Sussex Cricket brand to deliver accessible and enjoyable opportunities that grow the sport, tackle inequalities, improve health and wellbeing and enable people to fulfil their potential. Through our activities we look to make cricket accessible to all.

Rescuing abandoned, unwanted, ill-treated and neglected animals; Rescuing sick or injured wildlife; Caring for these animals and providing veterinary care until rehomed or rehabilitated; Spaying or neutering animals in the Trust's care and providing finance for those of limited means to spay or neuter their pets; Providing education to students, institutes, clubs and groups.

The provision of community transport in the Lewes area for people who have special needs of such facilities because they are elderly, poor or disabled, people with young children or those living in isolated areas where there are no adequate public transport facilities. The Charity operate 8 school runs. These are combined with 5 Dial a Ride routes and 4 other community bus services.

Religious Activities

Leaders enabled Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members to enjoy a full programme of activities following the Guide Association programme for young girls and women.

APART FROM SUPPORTING THE LOCAL HOSPITAL AND HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS BY PURCHASING MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND ENHANCING THE TIME PATIENTS SPEND IN HOSPITAL,

On 30.06.2022 we converted from a Trust (Reg 1106677) to a CIO. Our activities have not changed. We support children with life challenging conditions, and their families, across London, Surrey and Sussex by providing tailored support, in hospital and at home. Dandelion Time helps children struggling with the effects of trauma, abuse or neglect. Our farm setting provides a structured therapeutic sanctuary, with a wide variety of natural craft activities, where children can feel safe & valued. We work with the whole family, helping to break the cycle of abuse & to effect change. Families learn to build self-belief & create new beginnings.

The Association's principle activities are providing a residential care home at Healey House, day clubs at the John Taplin Centre and Bexhill, together with the provision of advice, information and support to visually impaired people of all ages living in the Hastings Borough and Rother District areas. The Charity also provides low vision support services for East Sussex County Council.

We provide a range of mental health services in response to local needs. These include: Advocacy services which provide support and representation. Advice and information to individuals on a range of mental health issues. Training to increase awareness of mental health issues within local organisations. Wellbeing services and activities to promote good mental health and challenge stigma.
