IN ADDITION TO DEALING EFFICIENTLY WITH TREES THAT POSE A DANGER TO THE DISASTER HIT COMMUNITY OR AN OBSTRUCTION TO THE RELIEF EFFORT, THEY TRAIN LOCAL VOLUNTEERS AND DONATE MODERN EQUIPMENT TO PROVIDE RESILIENCE AGAINST FUTURE EXTREME WEATHER EVENTS.

The International Society for Biomolecular Archaeology (ISBA) is an international community of researchers working on degraded biological remains from a range of archaeological and paleontological contexts. The society has an educational purpose, and aims to promote the study of ancient biomolecules to better understand our shared past. We provide micro-grants, bursaries, and prizes.

We work to energise and galvanise the travel and tourism industry, and the travelling public, to build The Charitable Travel Fund to provide tangible grant aid for communities in worldwide travel destinations that depend on tourism income but have little support when that income is threatened or extinguished by events beyond expectation or control. In essence our support starts when tourism stops.

The Mashi Foundation helps children who are living in poverty in Ecuador. The main areas of work are education and health care. We run a sponsorship programme that supports individual children to access these services. In addition, the charity works in a rural area of Ecuador where it offers nursery provision to young children.

We run a small school in an underprivileged area in South Quito where we offer free English lessons to the local community. We are working to get the appropriate recognition from the Educational Department in Ecuador to be able to offer our English lessons to schools all over Ecuador through an additional project (Online lessons and resources) that will enable us to reach more places and people

Serving the church in Latin America and the Caribbean, particularly in word ministry without forgetting the wider needs of the church. We support the church by: Biblical languages training (Hebrew and Greek, in partnership with Tyndale House, Cambridge) and MOCLAM (Moore College Extension in Latin America), as well as ad hoc support for churches.

Lodge Farm Church is an integral part of the community of Caerleon, with provision of services and activities for all ages. We are members of the Evangelical Alliance and support a wide range of relief and mission work at home and overseas.

InterVol support student volunteering groups at six universities: Birmingham, Nottingham, Lancaster, Oxford Brookes, SOAS, and Imperial College London. The Dai Rees Foundation (DRF) is a charitable organisation made up of UK based registered Paramedics. Our aim is to provide assistance to remote and rural locations across the globe by increasing health awareness, facilitating emergency medical training and donation of medical equipment. The DRF will also act as a trust and provide financial and logistical support to similar projects.

It is not simply a translation of the Quran, but is written in a poetry format without adding certain words to translate the Quran.

We collect used Prosthetic Limbs that can not be reused in this country, they are sorted, stripped and sanitised in readiness to be shipped to disadvantaged countries that have a need for used prostheses and their component parts.

The charity's activities is to help children in South America specially in Ecuador-Tabacundo, where the lack of food, education, health, etc is increasing day by day. During this period, the charity could not start with these activities, and it was a year of fund raising to get an income to begin with the projects.

The Piers Simon Appeal runs School in a Bag (SIAB) - an initiative that distributes rucksacks filled with stationery, learning resources and eating utensils to poor, orphan, vulnerable and disaster affected children around the world.SIAB runs many events including Home Farm Fest, a 3 day music festival held at the charity HQ in SomersetThe charity has 4 employees and 2 part time volunteers
