Utilising life experience, Learning Foundation Developments mission is to enhance all aspects of learning, enabling young people to build on the foundation we provide. Through either 1:1 mentoring, or group based teaching. Our ability to reach and engage the under achieving, at risk and criminal element in society, makes us a partner of first choice for Schools, PRU's & Criminal Justice Systems.

To further such charitable purposes as the trustees see fit, especially to relieve suffering and to promote spiritual wellbeing including human rights, racial harmony, equality or diversity in the United Kingdom or overseas.

We provide funding to activities in the poorest nations and communities of the world, especially those benefiting marginalised groups such as children, women, and the disabled. We work through organisations who are formally equipped and trained to empower these groups. We work only with those initiatives with which we have a personal connection, and do not respond to unsolicited requests.

Serving the church in Latin America and the Caribbean, particularly in word ministry without forgetting the wider needs of the church. We support the church by: Biblical languages training (Hebrew and Greek, in partnership with Tyndale House, Cambridge) and MOCLAM (Moore College Extension in Latin America), as well as ad hoc support for churches.

RELIEVE POVERTY AND SICKNESS, PARTICULARLY FOR CHILDREN.

The advancement of health or saving of lives, the general public/mankind, provides services, religious activities, the prevention or relief of poverty, general charitable purposes, provides advocacy/advice/information.

Supporting smallholder fish farming activities (marine and freshwater, fish, shellfish and plants) together with assisting their growth and development by co-operative and other structures. Providing technological input covering all areas of aquaculture and assisting the education and development of resource poor fish farmers and their organisations and structures both in country and remotely.

Whole Child UK improves the lives of orphaned, abandoned, abused, and neglected children. We work to restructure existing institutions to focus on children?s emotional needs,creating the possibility of integration into society. Through partnerships with academics, innovators, and service providers, Whole Child UK brings latest research and training to care providers in resource-challenged regions

1)To advance the religion of Islam by enlightening others mainly through distributing copies of the Quran (including translations to other languages). 2)By distributing the Manzoom Tarjuman Quran, a direct translation of the Quran in the language Urdu in poetry style. It is not simply a translation of the Quran, but is written in a poetry format without adding certain words to translate the Quran.

For the public benefit to advance the education of the Maya people, in particular but not exclusively Central America, in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including by providing grants to schools.

Poliphonia is an UK based charity with the purpose of promoting the classical music of the Americas. We promote concerts in the UK with repertoire from composers from the Americas, sponsor young players interested in learning this repertoire, restore music still in manuscript form to facilitate performance and produce recordings and film of performances and educational content.

We work with locally based projects that are initiated and controlled by women and communities facing severe economic and social conditions. Our aim is to support Latin American women who are freeing their potential and, alongside their men, determining the direction of their communities for the benefit of everyone. Our projects are small scale with clear objectives and visible practical results.

Organising talks and discussions for increasing awareness and understanding of Islam in the Latin American community. Taking part in fundraising events in the UK, and supporting positive community based activities in Latin America.

We are committed to enhancing students understanding of the institutional and political in-working of the United Nations (UN) organisation. Through attending simulated UN conferences, students act as ambassadors, representatives, and national leaders of their assigned countries whilst debating a variety of issues in a manner consistent with the procedure of the real UN.

TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF THE PATIENTS IN THE THIRD WORLD BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES AND SERVICES, NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES, ANCILLARY TO THOSE PROVIDED BY THE DOCTORS. The society was founded in 1982 to promote friendship between the UK and the republics of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and Belize. It organises lectures, social events, and fundraising events in collaboration with the embassies and sometimes with other charities. It also has a programme of small donations for charitable projects in the region.

The Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons (TUGSS) Society represents the global community of Upper Gastro-intestinal Surgery and all its various sub-specialities.There is currently no global platform representing all of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery.
