The trustees hold monthly (except August and December) meetings for all members. Meetings provide a chance for members to discover what is on offer with regard to trips or special interest groups. The meeting concludes with a presentation by a guest speaker on an interesting topic. Trustees arrange, support and publicise activities aimed at retired people who have a love of learning.

FEGS (The Friends of Enfield Grammar School), aka the school PTA, is a group of enthusiastic parents who aim to enhance the children's education by raising funds to support the school. All the money raised at our events go directly back into the school. FEGS has supported and granted many 'bids' for equipment from various school departments. Bancroft's Decorative and Fine Arts Society is a member society of NADFAS - National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts - serving a mature suburban area on the Greater London / Essex borders. Its principal activity is to provide a competent programme of lectures, study days & visits on a wide range of art & art history topics. Monthly lectures are delivered by NADFAS approved lecturers.

Our current project is focused on providing children living in Edmonton with free access to boxing sessions. Daily sessions with a professional coach to build on their technique and fitness. Through sport we will build on the youths confidence, give them guidance and encourage self belief.
