The charity is Human and Civil Rights organisation working for Human Rights, human dignity, Anti-human trafficking, Anti-Slavery, humanitarian aid, Women and Children Rights, including shelter, medicines, legal assistance, Justice and working against Corruption and Terrorism to bring Peace.

We hold fund-raising events in the Monmouth area and ask for public subscription to our funds. We send these funds to projects in Africa as identified by local communities in liaison with Action Aid. St. Yared's Trust supports The School of St. Yared in Addis Ababa, and its expansion. The Trustees hold fund raising events and campaigns, sources and delivers resources, recruits volunteers, engages with organisations, NGOs, and indivituals for the supply of resources and services for the school both in the UK and Ethiopia, consults with the school's managers on its development strategy.

The Trust works principally through support for the Ethiopian Heritage Trust in Ethiopia to restore and conserve lands of natural beauty and historic buildings in Ethiopia. Support focuses on the development and guardianship of the 13 square kilometre Entoto Natural Park on the outskirts of Addis Ababa, where over 600,000 indigenous trees have been planted.

We work with and support those that want to restore the lives of children and families that have been harmed through poverty and oppression. We aim to restore fullness of life among emotionally and psychologically hurting children and their familes through education and counselling services.
