The objective of the MCF for EMEA is to contribute to realizing an inclusive society, empowering the next generation and working towards environmental conservation by addressing environmental and social issues in the EMEA region. This objective is achieved through grant-making to mainly charities and NGOs/NPOs.

Vision Action aims to transform access to eyecare in developing countries. 670 million people worldwide are visually impaired because they do not have access to spectacles, due to the lack of eyecare services available in low income countries.Our work focuses on improving the lives of people marginalised by poor eyesight and is motivated by a belief that good vision should be a right for all

to relieve sickness and promote the preservation of health, in particular but not exclusively in Africa; andto advance the education of the general public in all areas relating to global development and health, in particular but not exclusively with regard to Africa, and to promote research for the public benefit in all aspects of that subject and to publish the useful results.

(i) the advancement of education, (ii) the promotion of health, and (iii) the relief of poverty.

Our mission is to inspire and inform policy and practice which lead to the reduction of poverty and the achievement of sustainable livelihoods in Africa, with a particular focus on sub-Saharan Africa.
