ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION THROUGHOUT THE WORLD & RELATED PROJECTS.

To advance the Christian religion for the benefit of the public in particular but notexclusively through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration ofreligious festivals, producing and/or distributing literature on the Christian faith toenlighten others about the Christian religion, providing pastoral care and carryingout missionary and evangelistic work.

Precious Gems is actively involved in building the capacity of women and young people, by identifying their gifts and talents and utilising these gifts and talents to enable them meet their identified social, economic, mental and environmental needs in their community. We operate in the United Kingdom and through our partner organisations outside the United Kingdom.

The charity is a grant giver which provides funds to The Death Penalty Project Limited (DPP Ltd), enabling it to provide free legal representation to prisoners under sentence of death. The charity and DPP Ltd also conduct capacity building programmes for legal and medical professionals; and develop and commission research studies on issues surrounding the death penalty.

AATC is dedicated to children living in adversity, providing homes, medical care, treatment, education, protection, respect, love & support services to children who are orphaned, sexually abused, affected by HIV, abandoned, trafficked or living in parentless households in Ghana, South Africa & India. We provide International Volunteer placements through VOCATIONAL IMPACT & support Fund A Mom.

1. To proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom of God through activities such as regular Sunday meetings and weekly activities; conferences, ministerial training and seminars.2. To share and demonstrate God?s love by ministering to the needs of people (both members and general public).

THE TWO MAIN AREAS OR ACTIVITIES THAT THE WOOD WORLD MISSIONS OPERATES UNDER ARE AS FOLLOWS: A) TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH BY MINISTERING THE WORD OF GOD; AND B) TO RELIEVE PERSONS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED OR HARDSHIP OR WHO ARE AGED OR SICK AND TO RELIEVE THE DISTRESS CAUSED THEREBY.

Ignite! promotes creativity in learning through developing projects and programmes that support young people, schools and communities. We design and deliver informal learning initiatives, often with a particular focus on creative engagement with science, technology, engineering and maths. We work locally in Nottingham and across the UK and internationally.

The charity, raises funds to be used for various good causes, including for the blind, elderly, sick and underprivileged people.It has helped various medical centres and educational bodies and run a Food for Life Programme as well as a cow protection scheme. Overall, apart from the above, over 85 Eye camps were carried out during the year and 4 Ambulances were donated during the year.

The Lorna Young Foundation works to support producers in developing countries to improve their livelihoods by adding value to their activities through education, training and direct economic support. Its UK projects promote education, information and work opportunities through community-owned ethical and fair trading enterprises, with a particular focus on disadvantaged groups.

SFAC provides training, mentoring, and advice to adults working to care for and protect children. We provide support in social work, psychology (including trauma, therapeutic care, and protective behaviours), and judicial practices and processes. We work alongside local organisations (NGOs, governments and courts) and provide subsidies to small organisations so our support is accessible to all.

Transplant Links aims to give relief of sickness and the preservation of health among people throughout the world.To provide transplant services and training in the achievement of the above purpose

The advancement of education for children and young people in areas which lack quality teachers, both in poverty affected countries and among displaced and migrant populations, by training volunteer teachers to work in schools and communities with the aim of creating employment opportunities and increasing the skill base of unemployed young people and enhancing educational provision for children

We mainly provide services to the young people from the disadvantaged communities and our activities are, but not limited to, as follows:-- Relief Poverty- Education- Playgroup- Mentoring and Lifeskills- Family learning

TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN SUCH WAYS AND IN SUCH PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OR THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME MAY THINK FIT;

THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE PROMOTION OF WASTE REDUCTION, RE-USE RECLAMATION, RECYCLING, USE OF RECYCLED PRODUCTS AND THE USE OF SURPLUS.

The Society distributes copies of the Bible, New Testaments and Psalms and illustrative material to the United Kingdom armed forces personnel and their associates, to the forces of the Commonwealth and other nations, all merchant seafarers, United Kingdom police, fire and rescue services and others.
