In advancing the Christian faith, we seek to facilitate churches and coordinating hub for eye-health and pastoral care.Our mission is to facilitate social inclusion among the isolated communities. We achieve this through partnership, capacity building (fundraising & volunteer career development) and projects management.

The Christian Africa Relief Trust is a charity which provides goods to the people of Africa, free of charge, in order to make a positive difference to their lives. The goods are distributed regardless of caste or creed. We also sponsor and encourage self-help and developmental projects in education, medicine, agriculture and vocational training.

The charity's objects are specifically restricted to the advancement of the Orthodox Anglican Christian faith for the benefit of the public in accordance with the tenets of orthodoxy set out in the Jerusalem Declaration declared on 29 June 2008 at the Global Anglican Future Conference and which is set out in the Schedule to the Articles.

CHURCH SERVICES

HOLDING REGULAR WORSHIP SERVICES TO PROMOTE THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT THROUGH PRACTICING THE PRINCIPLES OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH.

The main activities undertaken by the Church were regular public meetings for worship, prayer, bible study, preaching and teaching the Christian gospel, communion of the Lord's Supper, involvement in overseas mission, evangelism and outreach to the community including the welcome, teaching and encouragement of children and young people, on Sundays and mid-week.

Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, helping the needy in the local community and organisation of social activities for the youths in the local community.

To advance the education of the public whether in the United Kingdom or overseas in all matters relating to the African arts in all their forms, including but not limited to theatre, dance, music, cinema, architecture, literature and the visual arts. The charity raises funds and administers the Caine Prize for African writing.

The implement and improve safety on the highway. To work with authorities and commercial organisations in the development of design standards affecting safety of the road users.To increase public awareness of the issues affecting safety on the roads with the aim of changing attitudes through education, promotion and campaigning with other individuals and organisations with similar objectives.

Creating a free access website containing all pre 1900 documentary watercolours.

The objects are "the propagation of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, in particular by instruction in the doctrines and practices" specified in the Deed.The charity runs conferences and meetings in furtherance of the objects. Missions teams are organised to Ghana and other countries of the world. Other projects and events are organised by the charity in furtherance of the objects.

The Charity supports research into HIV infection in resource limited countries. It provides financefor individual researchers to undertake research, or research training. The support is in theform of scholarships that are awarded by a competitive, peer-reviewed, process for definedprogrammes of work.

The making of grants to support inter-religious studies.

To advance in life, relieve the needs of and help young people aged 2 to 25 living in poverty within disadvantaged communities in Accra, Ghana in particular by funding the charitable work of the Ghanaian charity known as Akwaaba Volunteers which organises programmes of physical, educational, sporting and other activities. Also helping individuals with disabilities.
