Charities In Ghana

The trust awards grants to charitable organisations at home and abroad which are working to help disadvantaged people.Applications are received from these organisations and are considered once a year by the trustees. The applications are short-listed and local opinion then sought as to which of the short-list are favoured. Usually four/five grants are awarded.

Family Empowerment Network International ( FENET International) provides services to disadvantaged communities in the UK and in Africa and projects include the provision of education and training, Health and well-being, Advice, information and signposting, economic development, and empowerment, environmental protection and community cohesion.

BONABOTO provides welfare information and advice targeted at marginalised communities. We support integration of migrants by providing advice and refering them to agencies to support them. We support our target groups to access services in order to improve their livelihoods and live healthy lives.

Our charity actively supports vulnerable people, young people released from the prison and people who are homeless. We are currently actively running a Foodbank scheme and have recently acquired premises from Coventry City Council to allow us to set up a charity shop providing low cost clothing and household items for those on low incomes.

Donated six Blood Pressure Monitoring Machines to two Hospitals in the Akim Kotoku Area of Ghana.Contributed to a rural electrification fund to a village in the Akim Kotoku Area of Ghana.Awarding Scholarship to very needy students in some Akim Kotoku Area Secondary Schools. Contributed to the purchasing of books to Oda schools. Donated used Bicycles to very needy areas in the Akim Kotoku Area.

Everlasting Evangelical Ministry was founded to provide for support for the Christian faith through the propagation of the gospel, to support and provided human resources, educational facilities,advocacy and advice to children, women and vulnerable groups. Employment advice,youth offending services, mentoring and befriending activities for youth who have gone through criminal justice system

Educational exhibitions of art, including carvings, sculpture ad pottery, drawn from an African heritage. Advice on charity administration

We meet for religious prayers,counsel the deprived and visit hospitals for special prayers for the sick.We also support the deprived in Ghana by sending used clothes and money to them. We have included sponsoring few children to school and donating regularly to widows in the Southern part of Ghana. We have also increased daily visitation to hospitals and also donate few materials to them

Besoro Child Foundation provides support in Education and training to poor children in the village called BESORO in the Ashanti region of Ghana.

Ethnic Voice offers practical help and advice on learning and work to members of the BME group, whether you are in work or unemployed. It is a local service and it is delivered by a group of volunteers who have had similar experience. It aims to build a relationship between members of the BME group in England and Wales with their Home Countries,in the areas of Education,Health,Environment

The Rotary Club of Stone & District provides Community Service locally, nationally and internationally either by volunteering or by using funds contributed by members of the Club or by the general public. Such service may include educational grants, or grants to relieve poverty

Provide pre and postmarital counselling, parenting and family life jobs and career guidance to all manner of persons.Give grants and financial aid to single parents and children from needy homes. Establishchildcare, after school club, music and drama that will serve working parents. Organise youthsporting competitions.

We give support to persons with special needs in Nigeria and Ghana through training and school fees payment. We are also growing our membership and volunteers. We are planning for the Future Talks in school. A day Science Expo for the blind. And our December Hands on Science Camp and Charity fund raising event in Sheffield, and others. We are opening Charity Shops.

KNDC is formed to alleviate and support the people of Kasena/Nankana people both in the UK & Ghana socially & economically.

Carib Kids International (CKI) was set up under the umbrella of Springfield Restoration Ministries, to facilitate impoverished families in Guyana.
